You see how quickly the window closes on teams when they have to pay a few guys. Your cap number then forces you to lose several vets that were filling key roles for your team and replace them with cheaper options, you see this impacting Kansas City as they have significantly less talent at WR and on the offensive line.

Mahomes was frustrated with his WR's all day, he looked to be cussing out his guys for either dropping the ball or running the wrong route numerous times, and with Nagy in the mix you know they are not going to run the ball, so they are one dimensional with Kelce being the only go to guy.

You clearly see quite a few of the vet WR's mailing it in if they do not get targets early.

Justin Fields disease spreads rapidly as you see QB's circling around and ignoring easy check downs while trying to make heroic scramble plays, it works maybe two times out of ten, when you combine that with teams oddly refusing to run the ball at the end of games to run out the clock you get games that seemingly never end and always come down to the last possession.
