“NFL vice president of football operations Jon Runyan issued the suspension for a violation of the rule that states it's a foul if a player "forcibly hits the defenseless player's head or neck area with the helmet, face mask, forearm or shoulder, even if the initial contact is lower than the player's neck, and regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him."

They are. Lawrence has a few hundred more passing yards and Fields has more touchdowns. They even have the same number of fumbles.

What? Lawrence has played in 10 more games, and will have led his team to 2 playoff appearances after joining the worst team in the league. Fields has guided his team to the worst record in the league once and a bottom rung team in the others. TL will have passed for 4000 yds the last 2 seasons. Fields won’t hit 2500. Please stop pretending they are comparable.

I'd disagree, and not just because Fields is undefeated in the playoffs while Lawrence has two losses.
