Why did Sneed only fetch a 3rd?

Because they also have to give him a fat extension.

And KC couldn't afford to which reduced what they got back for a guy who had to go.

The Velus Jones pick will now payoff.

Another way to get Tyreek Hill a few more touches too.

Also, with the Packers just resigning one of if not the best returner, why they voted against it?

I would prefer they just go back to the way it was done for years. But this option is better than seeing every kickoff go through the back of the endzone.

I agree with this - of all of the stupid ideas I have heard regarding kickoffs, this one doesn't seem too bad. It at least makes returning kicks relevant again.

It's a dumb question - if you paid 1M for a car and it ends up being a lemon, you get rid of the lemon. You don't say "well I paid 1M for this car, might as well use it." You can't - it's a lemon. Sunk cost fallacy.

66% completion, 26 td, 8 int, 98 qb rtg doesnt seem like a lemon on the surface. he could have given a diplomatic answer but chose not to. there's a story to tell

There are things beyond the numbers perhaps that made it unworkable. And in general Wilson's style on the field isn't what Peyton prefers.

payton's teams notoriously have had awful defenses. but he didn't like working with wilson, that has to be obvious.

His defenses were pretty decent when he was allowed to use cash incentives.

wonder how Carroll dealt with RWAG all those years, a freaking decade of Russ doing high-knees on team flights and blabbering on about never having to shit more than twice a month in the same crapper? Tho the latter point makes me envious. I guess crapping in a different fast food bathroom everyday on the way to work = the poor-man's version of a 15 shitter mansion.

Also, wasn't the whole franchise hopped up on Adderall during their Super Bowl runs, at least til the NFL cracked down on it a bit. I would think being on Adderall would make Russ even less tolerable. Maybe they all xanax'd-out on the flights while Russ is bouncing up and down the aisle.

Saskatchewan Roughriders finally getting their #1 receiver?

Quote:
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added Canadian receiver Chase Claypool to the team’s exclusive negotiation list, per sources.

The 25-year-old is currently a free agent following four seasons in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins.

What Steeler fans don't get yet is Fields will likely have more success as a QB in the CFL than he will for any NFL team.

I was so wrong on him. After watching him and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky defeat Brady, I just knew he would be an answer.

Texans are going to be a problem in the AFC for the next few years.

The time of the Bills has come to a close.

Texans getting their DJ Moore for Stroud after Stroud already performed like he had multiple #1 receivers. The hype Fields gets over Stroud just boggles the mind.

Nobody is hyping Fields over Stroud. Now you are just imagining shit.
