I believe that this is the 125th straight week for Miami. The next longest in history is 82 for Ohio State from 1996-2001. So far as I can tell, no other team is currently within 100 right now.

Meh...maybe. He's a 2nd rounder at best IMO, especially in a deep 2011 WR draft. Green, Jones, Baldwin, and Floyd should all go ahead of him. There are some other guys that might too.

If they develop some studs in the next few years, they can over lap with the McGahee-Gore-Johnson-Hester group

The U will send Hankerson on offense, but probably for the next couple of years defensive guys will be getting drafted.

This was the Aflac question during the Va. Tech-Miami game, which university has had a player score a touchdown every week since Week 15 of 2002.

The U has a new running back down there that has had some good games in a row. Hopefully he will be able to keep the streak alive in a few years.

Ray Lewis found the end zone as well.

Yep. Ed Reed also had that crazy lateral Pick 6 that doesn't officially count for him but is still pretty cool.

I think you are talking about Lamar Miller, number 6.

I think you are talking about Lamar Miller, number 6.

According to Kiper Graig Cooper is the New Hope

Overall Football TraitsProduction 2 2007: (11/1) 125 carries, 682 yards (5.5 avg.), 4 TD; 13 receptions, 129 yards (9.9), 1 TD. 2008: (13/11) 171 carries, 841 yards (4.9), 4TD; 29 receptions, 113 yards (3.9), 1 TD. 2009: (12/8) 134 carries, 695 yards (5.2), 4 TD; 18 receptions, 132 yards (7.3), 1 TD.
Height-Weight-Speed 3 Prototypical height. Needs to add some bulk but has frame to do so. Top-end speed is faster than the average running back prospect.
Durability 5 Suffered a knee injury in 2009 Champs Sports Bowl and underwent surgery shortly thereafter. Timetable for return is still unknown.
Intangibles 2 Hard worker. Good football character. Will play through pain. No off-the-field issues to our knowledge.

1 = Exceptional2 = Above average3 = Average4 = Below average5 = Marginal
Running Back Specific Traits
Competitiveness 1 Very competitive player. Runs with passion and toughness. Gives good effort in every facet of the game. Naturally switches ball from one side to the other. Has a tendency to dangle the ball wide at times in open field and needs to do a better job of securing it at all times.

Vision/Patience 2 Is shifty and frequently stops and starts in the backfield, but he is still a decisive runner. Shows very good natural instincts. Feels creases opening before they actually appear. Rarely misses and open hole.

Agility/Acceleration 1 Quick feet. Shows excellent lateral quickness and agility. Can plant his leg and accelerate up the field. A shifty runner who does a nice job of avoiding head-on collisions.

Power/Balance 3 Can continue to improve his bulk and lower-body strength. Certainly not a pile-pusher but runs hard, he has a very good center of gravity, knows when to lower his shoulder and drives his legs after contact. Reminds us a bit of Cadillac Williams. Not big or powerful but slippery and bounces off of a lot of would-be-tacklers. Runs with very good balance and pad level.

Passing Game 2 Excellent hand-eye coordination. Confident pass catcher with soft hands. Shows good focus and looks the ball in. Can pluck on the run and consistently catches the ball thrown over his head. Gets up the field quickly and is a threat after the catch. Not an overpowering blocker but knows his assignments and does what he can to execute.

1 = Exceptional2 = Above average3 = Average4 = Below average5 = Mar

Except that the 9ers were shut out last week so Gore might not have been the savior.

Still had Reggie Wayne tonight too. Hasn't got one yet, but he's reliable.

The Bears, Saints, Ravens, Colts, and 49ers are pretty reliable. When we get past those teams, I'll panic. I think it's fine until week 17, just because weird stuff can happen with players sitting.
