Good for them, I guess. But as I said before, Derek Carr isn't the answer to anyone's hole at QB. He'll be an upgrade, but that's not going to get them much further.

The offense is mired in absolute mud this year, and it’s not just because Kamara is out. They struggled last year as well. Pete Carmichael has way overstayed his welcome. The defense deserves better than this, and they started leaking a lot earlier than the escape win they had on Monday against the Panthers.


Carr being out doesn’t affect anything. The offensive line couldn’t protect Mahomes let alone what they have.

Allen may survive the season but he just has never struck me as head coach material.
