He is 11th in yards from scrimmage in the NFL right now, having a damn good year.

He'll never be elite like Forte.

Yep, he might be able to run thru a tackle.

Terrible angle by the safety but fatty hustled

I don't have the strenght for this right now but he wasn't an option on 1st, 2nd or 3rd and goal and then got stuffed on 4th.

26 carries for 100 yards
3 catches for 26 yards

Against the #1 rush defense. Great day for Fatty.

A better runner of the football than Forte ever was or will be.

Bears should've searched harder for the thunder to Forte's lightning. Form a Lacy/Starks or Bernard/Hill combo.

Though, Lacy won't see 29 like Forte.

so do the Packers line up in a three point stance and fire off the line or stand up and start backpeddling as soon as the ball is snapped?

I don't bring my Eddie Lacey biases home with me.

My young son was watching the game with me yesterday. He told me "that guy should not be a running back, he should be a lineman".

The "fat boy" stuff started out as kind of a joke but he is getting really big. I guess a guy like Tolbert can still be productive in the league at a greater weight but if I were Packer management, I would refer him to a nutritionist in off season meetings next Monday.

Had another good game yesterday 19 carries 101 yards, his asthma got him in the 1st quarter.

This Sunday's game was Exhibit A on why Lacey is the starter over Starks.

Over the last 2 seasons according to ESPN, Lynch leads in yards after contact with 1,281. Eddie Lacy was 2nd with 1,111, not bad fora 2nd year back that is just a fat ass.

Long season, he has been playing with a bum ankle for weeks. Let's see how he does the rest of the year, the bye week should do him some good. And having Scorehead hating on him only makes me feel better.

I stand by my assessment. Your ankles would be sore too if you were that out of shape.

Quote:
And the Green Bay Packers running back said that hasn't been a problem despite rumblings -- and unflattering photos -- saying he's overweight.

"I'm not the smallest person," Lacy said Thursday. "Brandon Jacobs wasn't the smallest person. Jerome Bettis wasn't the smallest person. Some people can just play like that, not that I'm Jerome Bettis' weight or nothing like that. I'm just saying, not everybody's meant to look like Adrian Peterson or somebody like that."

The Packers list 5-foot-11 Lacy at 234 pounds, which is three pounds heavier than he was at the NFL scouting combine in 2013. Coach Mike McCarthy said this week that Lacy is "bigger than he was as a rookie" but does not see his weight as an issue.

This is the correct move. Starks is a better RB. Probably the beginning of the end for Lacy.

Yep

How can he be Ron Dayne 2 when if his career ended now, he was better than Dayne?
