Eli's going to throw for 400+ yards and 3-5 TDs next week. Just like old times.

Not as bad as I thought it might be. They were in it up until the pick 6. The Pack actually gained more yards. 1.9 ypc for Fat Eddie.

We still suck. But, looks like Lions and Bears might suck more.

Playing temporarily without your all-world QB is much better than playing without an entire defense. The Bears will give the Packers some competition next year after acquiring some new defensive talent.

Wow. Wish I had that confidence. Still not sold on Emery.

There are some players on this team. I started a thread before the season in which I said the Bears are contenders if the defense is still serviceable. I still believe they would be contenders if the defense didn't self-destruct this year.

They've made progress on offense, a new star/semi-star has emerged on offense, and the coach can call smart plays everywhere except, it seems, during goal line situations. There's definitely a lot to look forward to on one side of the ball.

We're worse than suck. Just shut Rodgers down for the season and get a top-15 draft pick in this stacked draft.

I don't see how you can say that with the division still in the balance. Rodgers immediately changes things for the Pack and the division

Last I checked, he doesn't play defense. The defense is absolutely awful, and you can't win when they play like they are.

Ding ding ding

I wonder who would give up more yards at Denver, Bears or Packers?

I think if Goober played the whole game and the Broncos kept their foot on the gas the entire time, 700 yards of offense would not be out of the question against the Bears.

It's still undetermined, but not looking good for GB. The best they can do record-wise is 9-6-1, and that's only if they go undefeated the rest of the way. That's certainly not out of the question with a healthy Rodgers, but the Bears and Lions still can knock them out by simply playing one game better than GB the rest of the way.

The wild card doesn't look good for any NFC north team, so GB would have to win the division outright, even though again the best record they could put up going forward is 9-6-1.

Making the playoffs would only encourage current management to stay the course. I want this season to crash and burn so the arrogant fucks look in the mirror and realize they aren't God's gift to football.

Dec. 8 has been the target date for #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to return. Source now tells me “he’d be lucky” to be able to return this week

For #Packers, if Rodgers can’t go this week & they have no chance at the playoffs, source said it’s possible Rodgers is shut down for 2013

Yes, yes, yes. Anothony Barr is out of the question but perhaps Louis Nix, Khalil Mack, or Kyle Van Noy?

I think Nix is returning to ND. I was there for senior day and he refused to come out on the field when his name was called.

This team still sucks ass. Just one point less suckier than a totally garbage Atlanta squad.

For the Packers to be a game out of 1st is insane. They're going to win this shitshow division.

I don't want them too. But when you have the silver-haired dipshit and the nerdatron dipshit guiding the other two teams in contention the Packers have the illusion of being a playoff team. Rodgers is set on coming back and if the week 17 means playoffs then Packers are in.

8-7-1 is not going to win the NFC North.

Oh, it very well could. Have you seen the steaming piles that currently play in the division?

I have, but I don't think the Lions and Bears are going to go a combined 2-5 the rest of the way out, and I think GB has at least another loss in them.
