Also, the eye test thing is bullshit and means absolutely nothing. As far as the numbers are concerned 32 touchdowns, only 7 interceptions, 65.1 completion percentage, 101.1 quarter back rating and over 3500 yards. He's easily having one of the best seasons of any quarterback in the NFL. To say he's one of the three best QB's right now is not really going out on a limb. |

I don't feel as bad about this loss. Just about every other playoff defeat under McCarthy has been a gut-wrenching nightmare. However, having another deep playoff run will allow the same shit to continue with the defense and front office. |

In theory, I don't disagree with this. My concern with him is his injuries, he has been quite ouchy so far. I hope they front load it so that in case after 2 years it is a bad deal, they can get out from underneath it. |
