Barring any trades, Bears select a slot earlier next round (6th, due to the Jets trade) and then their standard 7th slot in the 6th round and that's it. Jets have Bears 7th round pick.

Lions, best run defense and top 10 pass D last season, reloading on defense.

Good thing about the Bears having a porous defense is the Bears shiny new offensive pieces won't have to wait long to get back on the field when the other team has the ball.

There are quite a few women at the bowling alley on Thursday nights that don't. Whenever one of them makes an announcement over the loud speaker, they scream into it as loud as they can. It literally hurts your ears.

I have seen the Saints listed as Losers on grades for this draft.

Overall I'm not pleased with the Packers draft thus far. They absolutely need an ILB. Now if they are waiting to pick up another teams salary cap cast-off and succeed in that then I'll revise my opinion. I also do think that LB in general is the easiest position to fill, but given that they really didn't have that many holes to fill I would have preferred to see TT go all in for one of the top guys via trading up rather than hoping to hit on a mid-round guy. They need quality more than quantity at this point but TT shows he is stubborn in how he values the young and cheap.

I thought Ted's draft was alright. I wish he grabbed Malcolm Brown at 30th on Thursday. We do have Raji coming back along with the 3rd pick from last year in Thornton.

I liked the Jake Ryan pick. If he can be young AJ Hawk that's good value for 4th round. What a great name in Ripkowski for a fullback.

Seems like Thompson is figuring a lot of draft picks/UDFA from last year who didn't contribute like Thornton, Bradford, Hubbard etc factored into his drafting decisions this year.

Overall I can't complain about his CB/S picks. He has a great track record with Clinton-Dix, Hyde, Hayward, House, Shields in the past 5 years.
