Pretty soon it will be "Langford broke a tackle said no one ever"

Barring any trades, Bears select a slot earlier next round (6th, due to the Jets trade) and then their standard 7th slot in the 6th round and that's it. Jets have Bears 7th round pick.

Barring any trades.

Rams, Vikes, Dolphins & Jets did well too. Wouldn't be surprising if the Rams won 11 or 12 games next year. Great off-season. Same with the Dolphins.

Todd gurley reminds me of Trent Richardson... I think mariotta and gurley are the biggest 1st round busts this year.

Lions, best run defense and top 10 pass D last season, reloading on defense.

Good thing about the Bears having a porous defense is the Bears shiny new offensive pieces won't have to wait long to get back on the field when the other team has the ball.

Is it just me or have the 49ers made every selection in this round?

Yea, they traded up to get him right? Ted loves his QB's. Pretty sure he loves TE's too.

There are quite a few women at the bowling alley on Thursday nights that don't. Whenever one of them makes an announcement over the loud speaker, they scream into it as loud as they can. It literally hurts your ears.

Good Lord. The film on that guy. His footwork looks like Godzilla destroying Tokyo.

If they wanted a Tackle, why not just draft Tyrus Thompson?

Bears didn't need him.

Just shows how great they think David Fales is.

He must have shown him his 9-route tosses in a hurricane during an earthquake skills.

I like the Fabaluje pick. He'll have to play guard I would imagine.

Probably.

I need to grab some earthquake insurance, though, if they plan to pull him on a toss sweep.

Maybe he can just give 30 lbs to Grasu. Then they'd be all 6'7" 330 at G-C-G.

stole this from somebody on WCG:

1. Long
2. Grasu
3. Slauson
4. Bushrod
5. Mills
6. Ola
7. Ducasse
8. Groy
9. Montgomery
10. Fabuluje or Leno

I think only about 5 of those guys are guaranteed a roster spot.

They're probably hoping to put Godzilla on the practice squad and work on his conditioning.

I have seen the Saints listed as Losers on grades for this draft.

I don't see that at all.

Overall I'm not pleased with the Packers draft thus far. They absolutely need an ILB. Now if they are waiting to pick up another teams salary cap cast-off and succeed in that then I'll revise my opinion. I also do think that LB in general is the easiest position to fill, but given that they really didn't have that many holes to fill I would have preferred to see TT go all in for one of the top guys via trading up rather than hoping to hit on a mid-round guy. They need quality more than quantity at this point but TT shows he is stubborn in how he values the young and cheap.

I thought Ted's draft was alright. I wish he grabbed Malcolm Brown at 30th on Thursday. We do have Raji coming back along with the 3rd pick from last year in Thornton.

I liked the Jake Ryan pick. If he can be young AJ Hawk that's good value for 4th round. What a great name in Ripkowski for a fullback.

Seems like Thompson is figuring a lot of draft picks/UDFA from last year who didn't contribute like Thornton, Bradford, Hubbard etc factored into his drafting decisions this year.

Overall I can't complain about his CB/S picks. He has a great track record with Clinton-Dix, Hyde, Hayward, House, Shields in the past 5 years.

fwiw the beat writer for the Green Bay Newspaper rated their draft 28th out of 32.

I was OK with their 1st pick and liked the Jake Ryan (16 Candles Flashback) pick. The TE from UAB was worth a flyer. Otherwise I thought he reached on the others and there is no way they should have drafted a FB...regardless of his name.

Obviously if they nab a solid veteran ILB that's let go or 1 of the guys from last year steps up then the complaints are moot - But we've seen this movie before. They are too close to a SB to not be "all in" right now....particularly considering how quickly the window can slam shut.
