Holy shit, they just showed Rothlisberger walking into the stadium. I know he's always been chunky, but that son of a bitch looked like he put on an additional 20 pounds for this season. He's got 3 chins.

He actually had the "Fat guy walk" where he was waddling from side to side. I've never seen that walk from an NFL QB. Don't get me wrong. He has been and will be good as a fat guy. But I gotta believe he could be better if he lost some weight.

Maybe he finally got raped back, got depressed and let himself go.

I really hate the late starts even later for a team's celebrating that no one in the rest of the country cares about.

Steelers coaches receiving the Patriots radio broadcast feed in their headsets.

I'm sure it's just another honest glitch at Gillette Stadium...

No way the Patriots were going to lose this game. Steelers aren't a playoff team either.

I agree but early lines were 6.5 - 7 and I'd have preferred that big time.

Steelers have a defense in transition and minus Bell and a 2 and 3 receiver. No way they were winning. That Gronk fantasy pick of mine looks good.

What a stinker of an opening game. And I thought the Bears were the worst team this year. Might be the Steelers.

Why the F do the Steelers keep playing man coverage when they keep getting beat on pick passing plays? You know how you beat the Patriots? You blitz this shit out of Brady and beat him to a pulp. The loss of the legend, Dick LeBeau, showed tonight. He would have been throwing everything at Brady.

Have you watched the 2nd half?

Turned it off after the Pats scored their Q3 touchdown. What happened? I see it's tightened up. Turning it back on now.

I am going to lose week one in fantasy to a guy who did not draft a starting rb in the NFL due to Gronk and Brady.

7 combined TD's between 2 players will tend to do that

generally speaking if brady has a weak part of this game its his deep ball or downfield accuracy.... yet plenty of teams will let him dink and dunk his way down the field. to me the natural way to force brady to make deep throws to run press man...

odd game

Pats had it in control most of the time but the Steelers really should have won.

Had the Steelers not got rid of LeBeau, they would have won the game. Steelers defense looked amateurish last night. How do you get rid of one of the best DCs of all-time before he wants to retire? Hell, I would have taken LeBeau as the Bears HC over Fox, even at his age. Every player who ever played for LeBeau loved the man.

Tomlin should protest the game over the headset communication problem. Can't imagine anything more unsettling for opposing coaches in the most hostile territory of Gillette Stadium.

And for the people who bet on the PATS, why didn't you buy the 1/2 pt?? Then you had a push.
