The tide seems to be turning and the Rams staying put seems to be gaining momentum.

This league is so stupid. The lease is up, the owner wants to leave, let it go.

Lovie has a look on his face that reminds me of this uncle I had with Alzheimers. Like "where am I? How did I get here?"

Jerome Boger calls intentional grounding...

My wife: "Oh this fucking guy. This guy has a little sugar is his gas tank doesn't he?"

Still one of my top-2 favorite NFL refs to watch call a game.

it has to be ed hochuli, right?

there's a reason bernstein had/has the mancrush, and why in the NFL alphabet book for kids when you get to the R IS FOR REFEREE page there's a big huge picture of ed making that newschool ref uniform look GOOD DAMMIT.

Nice call Lovie. Did he know what was happening, what the score was, where the spot was and what he was doing?

Nope. Too "talky".

I love me some Gene Steratore. Cool, calm, collected......swagger....
And a big time college basketball referee as well.

I'm not a Jameis fan at all....but that sequence was some bullshit.
He took a hard head shot on the tackle, then got shoved multiple times by the opposing team after the play.
Cannot do that in the NFL. He should have been pissed.

The kids at my school use it as an insult when a classmate gets that "too close" haircut.

I don't think any of the rumored teams should move to LA. I'd prefer they look at expansion.

It's the "Color Rush" initiative. Every team on Thursdays will have to wear the same colored jersey, gloves, pants, socks, and shoes. Let's hope next year doesn't have all-orange Bears against all-yellow Packers. People might have to buy new TVs.

Bullshit. The scheduling matrix works perfectly with 32 teams, and they're kind of overextended with 32 teams, anyway. (Do we need Nashville and Jacksonville, really?) The NFL doesn't need St. Louis and St. Louis can't support three teams. Get them out of the league.

Ehhhh....part of what make the NFL so freakin perfect (for their desired purposes) is the 8 divisions of 4. A perfect 32.

I'd love expansion, but it'd have to be up to.....40? in order to maintain those nice perfect numbers.
Imagine the starting QB play at that point........

I'd rathe have "AAA" teams in all of the other "big" cities that don't have teams. They could honestly make that work.

You could go back to West-Central-East and have six divisions of six. You could add Los Angeles NFC, Los Angeles AFC, London, Toronto, Mexico City, and Mars. Think of the revenues! Think of the shitty games!

hell yeah we do. without those two cities all those ppl would have to immigrant-crisis out to our civilizations, and while i love to be PC-n-hip and say that i'd personally welcome in a family of jacksonvillian refugees into my apartment if i could, well yeah that sounds great and all on twitter but when you've got a family of displaced jacksonvillians looking to move into my apartment i'm calling up my boy in san bernandino to get me an assault rifle to protect myself, you know what i'm saying?

think of jacksonville and nashville as containment cities and know that we need them to simulate life as much as possible so we dont have a REAL migrant crisis that makes syrians look like a walk in the park. there's a reason you dont know any titans fans, CH.... respect that! =P
