Was hoping Ramsey could fall to 11, best player taken so far.

I hope Green Bay trades up for him.

In reference to this, Gruden says, "if you want to be a professional football player, you have to get off social media."

Or not!

Tunsil or Treadwell should be there at 11.

Take either one.

Floyd looks more like a WR.

What do you guys think of the pick?

Hmm. Well, we traded what we got in the Bennett trade (actually more, cus that also cost us a pick). Put another way, one win cost us just having this slot outright.

Not sure about the pick. Seems like a reach.

Leonard Floyd ratings (1-5, 1 is the best)

  • Instincts/Recognition -- 2 -- Improved overall instincts and awareness in 2015 but still has room to grow. Saw heavy action in 2015 as an off-ball LB. Has natural playmaking instincts and is quick to locate the ball. Has good contain discipline for the most part. Is a quarter-count late on play-action and misdirection. Will get overzealous as a backside defender and lose contain at times. Occasionally fails to chip a releasing TE.
  • Take-on Skills -- 4 -- Is stronger than his linear frame indicates. Has adequate initial pop and long arms to keep blockers off his pads. Consistently holds ground versus TEs but struggles to anchor versus OTs. Needs some develop with hand-to-hand combat disengaging from blocks. Is especially lean in his lower body.
  • Range vs. Run -- 1 -- Is very active. Does a nice job of keeping his feet moving while setting the edge. A smooth mover and very fluid in redirect. Has outstanding closing burst in pursuit.
  • Tackling -- 2 -- Has some initial pop at the point of attack but will wrap up too high at times. Also occasionally comes in too hot. But he's when under control, he shows good balance to gather and wrap up in space. Can do a better job of keeping his eyes up when attacking runners lower half. His long arms are helpful versus shiftier ball carriers in space.
  • 3rd Down Capabilities -- 1 -- Is a productive pass rusher with a high ceiling. Displays elite get-off speed. Explodes out of the blocks and shows acceleration to beat OTs around the edge with pure speed. Has really good, natural bend and body control. Has excellent torso flexibility, but he a tendency to make wide, out-of-control turns, which make it easy for OTs to steer him past the pocket. Flashes potential to effectively convert speed-to-power as a pass rusher despite needing to improve his strength. Showcased his versatility in coverage in 2015 as a off-the-ball LB and had a career high 3 PBUs. Good field awareness in coverage and has a quick closing burst to limit production after the catch. Has the movement and athleticism to matchup in man coverage.

Displays elite speed while being at least 20 lbs underweight for the NFL. Boom or bust.
