He measured short and had a few mediocre workouts. Sometimes, that's all it takes. Horford, Conley, and Brewer passed him by.

Do you guys put any stock at all in the summer league stuff? I'm pissed at Directv for cutting off NBA TV for 3 lousy months in the summer (they give it to you free with League Pass but otherwise it's in a higher tier programming package) so I haven't watched any. I know if someone sucks they say "it's just the summer league" but if they do well they're "showing promise"

I watched a bit of it online, but no, I don't take it seriously. The competition is pretty mediocre, and so is the quality of basketball.
