Barkley sounds like he’d go to NBC. If Ernie wants to work at TBS doing baseball for the rest of his career, good for him. He’s replaceable though. Someone else can “make it work” too. I can do without Shaq. He offers nothing. And I feel the same way about Kenny. I’d like to see Jalen Rose back on television. He’s got thoughts and opinions. So does Jamal Crawford.

You're mostly right, but there's good shit talk between Chuck and Shaq. Kenny can go die in a fire. No one will miss him. Ernie might not be a dime a dozen, but he's no more than a quarter a dozen.

Chuck and Kenny are great together. Ernie is the glue that holds it all together. Shaq can go jump in a volcano.

Kenny hasn't been entertaining since Shaq joined the show. Shaq and Ernie are both eminently replaceable. Barkley is the onlly indispensable component.

I think you have to keep them all together if it's really going to work. Even Shaq. Though he doesn't provide much in terms of analysis the interplay between him and Barkley is eminently entertaining. There is nothing scripted about the shit talking back and forth between those 2.
If you lose any of that group you lose one of the best studio shows in sports history imo. If they do get rid of Shaq let's say, then please replace him with someone unafraid to speak his mind. Unfortunately network execs are usually afraid to hire those types out of fear that they might go overboard at some point.
