 LTG you’re killing me. Like I said, there’s a difference between “I’m a fan of this team” and “I think this team is great”.

I’ve been a big fan of Mitchell and Jokic since day 1. Maybe that causes me to overrate their impacts and their teams but it doesn’t mean I’m a bandwagon fan of that team. Part of following the NBA is liking invidual players. The sport lends itself to that.

Are you done with this lame as fuck gotcha attempts? Just stop.

The constant belittling of people for liking certain teams even as you make excuses for teams you like is annoying.

If you don't want people to call you on it then stop doing it and I won't.

You seem to want to have it both ways with that.

When’s the last time I belittled someone for their NBA opinion? You correctly called me on that and for the most part I believe I have stopped.

You like certain teams and make excuses for them too. OKC the 6 seed is a prime example. It’s cool cuz all sports fans do.

I don’t want it both ways. I’ll plainly state that I want you to shut the fuck about it and stop acting like I did years ago when I annoyed you by always trying to do the gotcha and who’s right game. Follow
My example and stop doing that. It’s pretty simple to understand.

Have you been paying attention? If I were interested I could have beat you over the head with the Lakers stuff. Or the Paul George stuff. Or the Simmons better than Embiid stuff. Or Doc Rivers.

Or many other things. I take the high road with this stuff as it's a waste to continuously partake in it. I also have avoided threads where you're posting. I know I have slipped a little lately but for the most part I have avoided them.

As far as the other stuff I'd rather discuss sports with people that have actual sports thoughts.

Dissenting opinions simply for the sake of being dissenting opinions are boring. Reading obvious troll posts are boring.

I'd rather for guys to state why they think what they think as opposed to claiming what someone else thinks to be idiotic.

That's all that happens in any of the basketball sections. It's a waste.

See how easy it was for you to jump to delusional? It's sort of the way all your posts go. No context though you know "you're right about it".

If that were the case then why was it more important for someone to be better than Tatum? Or Embiid? Or Philly?

I can go on and on but I'm not.

You made the Kyrie Irving a thing well after I'd moved on because you had to be right.

Maybe you need to look in the mirror as far as those obsessions and delusions go.

I’m not making anything a thing anymore. That’s your deal. I’m not gonna mention you choosing OKC to go to the WCF this year just an hour ago either.

Here is the actual quote but continue lie
Bagels wrote:
Who do you think they'd be playing in the conference finals that not having Cousins would affect them significantly

They actually would get Houston next round. Even better. OKC might be able to get to the Conf Finals given the way the seeding breaks down

1.Houston.
2. OKC.

For the record you are the same dude that stated that had no chance against G.S. with Durant and came out looking foolish. Everyone who thought otherwise were told they were stupid then too.

Must have missed where you reveled in being wrong.

1.) Houston can’t play in the conference finals. Therefore you picked OKC. Who’s probably about to be down 2-0.

2.) OKC lost to Gs with Durant so it’s funny you keep propping that up just because I was wrong about the length of the series when you picked the wrong fuckin team to win

You claimed they'd get swept and again it's not that you were wrong. It was that anyone that dared disagree with you was an idiot.

You do it everytime someone dares disagree with you.

As much dumb shit as you say Draymond Green is a top 15 player being another one of em there is no way you should be so dismissive.

Your thoughts on Philly have been pathetically laughable from the beginning though I have tried to be somewhat respectful.

I didn't pick them to win. Again you're lying. I said it would extremely competitive and it was. Bump it and look "stupid" if you want

Let's put $200 on what was said?. Or set your price and I will match it.

Let's see how much of a "just stop" you'd like it to be. You lie an awful lot I see.

It’s why I prefer to just make bets with him when there’s strong disagreement. His “gotcha” stuff and endless quest to be right is tiring outside of that. I won $100 last year and he won $100 this year. We have $50 left riding on the mvp race so we’ll see how that goes but it’s pretty tiring just going back and forth on who was right about petty shit

What's MVP bet?

Who finishes higher in MVP voting this year - I have Jokic he has Embiid for $50

Coin toss

I'd say the odds are in LTG's favor. 1) east coast bias 2)28 a game still means something.

Lots of guys have averaged 28 a game before. Only Wilt has put up the numbers Jokic did this year from the center position before.

You're counting on sophistication. That should never be counted on. There's going to be votes for east coast Embiid based on a center getting 28 and 14. It's nothing against your choice, but I just would rather be in LTG's position. He has a couple intangibles on his side.

I'm feeling good about it. Bill Simmons and Ryan Russillo each have votes and on his recent podcast both said they voted for Jokic at 3 and Embiid wasn't in their top 5.

Sekou Smith has Jokic 5th and Embiid 6th.

Interesting.

I mainly use this as a guideline during the season

Last year it was very accurate but it's algorithm gets the Kawhi thing wrong this year. No way he's finishing top 5 after sitting out 1/4th of the season while completely healthy.

Obviously wrong on the Klay part. But aside from that I don't think your assertion that GS is vulnerable this year was validated last night. They clearly lost because Klay and KD went down.
