The Players Only broadcast is pretty cool.

Yea I agree , on tv you obv don't need someone describing the movements and action to you . I'd rather here players discussing the nuances of what's going on

Agreed. I do find it funny though when they say some shit that's obviously incorrect(Rose is still a great player when healthy, everyone acknowledges that). Regular broadcasters do that shit too though.

As long as Stacey King isn't one of them. Dude will straight up lie about what is going on.

IMU and Boss Castillo already know this, but I'm a bigfan of Brogdon. Gonna be a great two way player for a long time.

I made myself type it 100 times straight 3 years ago so I'd impress FavreFan.

Antetokounmpo baby!

We can call him FF. He resembles a young FF on the HS freshman basketball team.

It's really fun watching Ben Simmons this year. He's pretty dominant and he's still fucking around and seeing what he can and can't do at this level.

The best thing about Joe Ingles is it looks like they just took someone out of the stands and threw a jersey on him but he's actually good.

Philly on a Five game winning streak. Beat Utah in Utah without Embiid. Solid.

Yep. Simmons is awesome and they did a good job surrounding him. You still don't think McConnell is a solid fit with this team?

He has been balling thus far but I'm thinking in terms of when they get really goood. I don't see him as a guy that you can have in the rotation. I think his latest play is more of an outlier but I could be wrong.. I see him as a poor man's Delladova (As Bagels or Bills noted) Or an even poorer Barea type. I actually am a Barea fan. If he can turn out to be that good then I will roll with him.

D'Angelo Russell has been great this year. Maybe the Lakers just can't develop talent for shit.

lol, no he hasn't. Scoring points does not make you good, just like not scoring points does not make you bad. Russell has been chucking in Brooklyn, shooting 45% from the field while averaging 6 assits and over 4 turnovers. I've watched a few Nets games this year and he's been nothing but empty stats, not doing anything to help his team win games aside from a good game or two. He was pretty bad against the Lakers, a team he should've been real fired up for.

Lakers made a good decision getting rid of him. No one will ever win with Russell as their starting PG.

I've watched some Nets games too this year and disagree. I think he's played really well.

I think the NBA guys should keep a spreadsheet that tracks how many games they watch so we can settle it once and for all.

What's not to like about Russell this year? He's a talented and willing passer, can shoot 3s and finish, and has a nice little Steve Nash-lite floater. I don't remember him displaying anything near this type of ability the last couple years the few times I saw him.

Post subject:  Re: NBA Regular Season Thread

He's been pretty good, but definitely not great. Wilted towards the end in a couple games I watched.

I've never seen him before this year so i don't have the same frame of reference. Maybe he's a lot better than he was, but overall I don't think he's been anything special. Just pretty good.

Shades of last year for the Wolves. Suns on a 14-0 run in the last 3 minutes of the game.

Orlando has some talent.
