21 points (9/13) in the 1st half. Asserting himself as he damn well should.

Whiteside is blocking a few shots but he is killing them overall tonight. He has already gotten beat for at least 5 off rebounds so far.

I thought Nurkic was going to solve that. Lakers one of the best rebounding teams, Portland one of the worst.

Doncic is probably done for the post season. No way he can play on that ankle once it swells up tonight.

Montrezl Harrell should probably be suspended for the playoffs.

Neither team is attempting run any type of offense in this Magic/Bucks game.

It's got to be horrible to be a Pacers fan. First you probably live in central Indiana, then your team will never be good enough to win a title post ABA.

Reggie Miller is probably still sick over what he missed out on.

"Dame Time" has disappeared in multiple 4th quarters during this bubble.

The Lakers are still vulnerable to good 3 pt shooting teams because they themselves cannot shoot 3s.

Whether for renewal talks with ESPN/TNT or just for dealing with the fallout from Covid season, the NBA more-than-ever needs good ratings through these playoffs. The difference between Lebron's Lakers in the playoffs and Dame's Blazers is huge. 3 to 4 million viewers a game for Lebron's Lakers vs 1 to 2 million viewers for non-Laker games.

No doubt.

Just sad it has been this way for decades now.

Refs had to be getting frustrated with the Lakers bricking free-throw after free-throw in what's basically an empty gym. Refs should've shot the Lakers FT's for them. Wouldn't need to call so many if the Lakers were able to hit more than Shaq-level shooting from the line.

So much for legalized gambling keeping the games honest. I imagine the sharps already bake into their data sets the refs and comparative ratings prospects. Little cheesed as I placed some minor wagers at insane odds on a Blazers-Raptors Finals on day-one of the play-in tourney--back when Portland was a bit of a long-shot to even grab the 8th seed.

The NBA was willing to ride Steph Curry for half a decade. Dollar Dame and his East Oakland attitude not as middle-America friendly as smiling Steph? Tho Curry's Warriors never stood in the way of Lebron making the Finals.

I think this one is as simple as the Blazers are not as good. Collins getting hurt hasn't helped and the Lakers have been trying. Keep in mind I would be as happy as anyone if the Lakers lost in round one. When Anthony Davis has shown up the Blazers have had no answers. He disappeared in second half of game 1 and first half tonight. Bith were strong halves for Portland.

i dont follow the NBA anymore. I use to watch the playoffs but i have not even done that. Nowadays I may watch the finals. Maybe a game 7.

With saying that I know for sure the Lakers are going to be in the Finals regardless of their talent or the opponent. The NBA will need the glamour team during this year's pandemic.

yeah, after starting without Rodney Hood and Ariza and now losing Collins, tough for Portland to keep James/Davis in check at all. Hood/Ariza better match up defensively against Lebron and Collins an extra big to throw at AD. Lakers have the 2 best players on the court every game. Blazers only chance to W is have Dame go off for 40+ and then hope AD decides to play like Dirk and stay on the perimeter shooting 3's. Or Lebron/AD test positive for C19.
