Correct.

But LeBron prevented a lot of Eastern Conference players from getting to the Conference Finals, since his team was always one of the two teams. Only 12 non-carried players a year got to the EC Finals.

Had seeding gone the Bulls way, Butler might have been able to face LeBron twice in the EC Finals instead of the EC second round.

Yep. Funny how this sort of slack was never afforded to My main man Melo. All he had to do was get past the Spurs with Duncan and the Lakers with Kobe each and every year. Mind you his 2nd best player was often KDdidit Martin or Andre Miller. Butler has actually had all league guys around him and still can't do shit.

Butler has only been REALLY good for 3 years. Not really fair to compare an over achiever to guys who came into the league dripping with talent.

MANY on here have however. Good player but the brakes should have been pumped on him several years ago. James Harden (who many on here dislike) destroyed Jimmy Butler during that series.

He wasn't full strength, IMO.

Jimmy is an all star, not a superstar. I wouldn't underestimate his ability. Me defending Jimmy, God help me, might have something to do with how Scottie was treated. I see the same type of insecurities in both of them, but that shouldn't have any relevance on the judgement of their play.

He not Scottie. He's an effort player who has maximized whatever ability he had. Those types of players age poorly.

Good player but he thinks he is a great player. He is proclaiming that they "need him". To do what get bounced in the first round of the playoffs as an 8 seed

I believe they were a 3 or a 4 when he got hurt.

Other teams had more injuries. Hell Doc Rivers (much better coach than Thibs) coached 3 different rosters and still almost made it. Denver almost made Pelicans lost Boogie and finished with a better record.

Butler missed 20 games. Other teams had key guys who missed more and still outperformed them.
