I'm not sure why ltg isn't working as a scout in the NBA
He can instantly tell whether or not a player is going to be good or not....and often times only needs summer league games or private workouts to do so !

I'm actually getting rather tired of being right about this stuff. Continue to get your information from the blithering idiot. He seems to rather credible in certain quarters.

All i do is get it right pal. Once it happens then you will say that it was "no way anyone could've known at the time".

Yes there was and is if you simply watch the games. He looked better than Ball even when he had a bum shoulder.

Don't hate me cause i'm beautiful. All i do is best the crowd of dissenters more often than not.

You asked a question i answered it and you differ with the answer and start down the personal attack train.

As it stands now i've been right about most of the stuff that i profess to know about.

The majority of the dissenting crowd hasn't. Doesn't make me a scout. I have a career. I'm good. I like hoops but it doesn't make me an expert though.

What rings hollow is the premise that some work off.

The entire position which attempts to paint me as a guy that doesn't know shit blows up on you each and every time.

At some point try and conduct discussions that don't involve that sort of thing and its all good.

I don't care about people disagreeing. That is what this place is for but i'm going to call bullshit when i think discussions are based on agendas and not disagreement.

Looks like Philly may get the 3rd seed. Cleveland looks like they will have to face the Raptors in the 2nd round. Eastern playoffs just got a little more interesting

Vegan its been a rough year for you my man. I actually hope you're right. I don't want to see Philly and Boston play. Like both squads. I'd rather see the split. Cleveland is in trouble this year. I'm not ready to bet against them (avatar yes) but they are vulnerable.

In 28 minutes since returning from injury Markelle Fultz has 13 points and 15 assists. If Ball posted numbers like that No Great Shakes would be holding a parade.

No doubt he will be better than Lonzo Ball. That will be the case even if its by default.

I liked how 20 minutes after the injury the Sixers announced he had a face contusion, BUT NO CONCUSSION IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE THINKING! It was obvious to anyone watching that game that he had a concussion, he couldn't even open his eyes when he was laying on the ground, you could tell he was having sensitivity to the lights. Obvious concussion. Also the way he rolled around on the ground like he just got shot made it pretty clear he had more than just a contusion...unless Embid was just a massive pussy and couldn't handle a bump on the head.

Sixers tried to take a page from Lavar and speak it into existence that he wasn't really that hurt.

How long is he going to be out? Concussions can be tricky. Sid Crosby missed 6 months, but that's for hockey which is a more contact oriented sport obviously.

Got damn Walt. You have been granted a stay of execution. I told you that it wasn't over yet.

I think the easy schedule combined with being up 3 in the loss column will help me tremendously. 8 games left must win against Atlanta. I think they will lose to Charlotte.

Why on God's Green earth was he on the court??????? Mop up time if you can see if he can shoot :?: See I think Embiid be a better low post player yhan Walton if he didn't have a little Steph In him

I'm good with Fultz playing if he can go. This happened in the early part of the 2nd.

He is too busy taking years off Lavine's career to care about destroying theirs. Embiid could still play but what would be the point? He has already demonstrated that he is an all league talent and Simmons probably could go if needed. I wanted one more year of tanking and this fits in perfectly. Draft a solid prospect in the draft and make the playoffs next season. Trade Okafor too.

 how is he taking years off Lavine's career ?

Quote:
What's the point of Embiid playing ?

Wrong in order to see if he can play. Duh

Quote:
Yeah, continuing a losing culture is great.

Wrong. They got right in the mix as soon their "core" guys were ready to go.

Quote:
Why should he have even played at all this year then ?

So that you know what you have with Embiid.
Wrong

Quote:
Then they could have been even worse! If he's able to go, he should go to get the time and experience. And if the injury is serious enough to warrant him being sat down and not just a covert way of tanking (again), that's obviously not good either.

Wrong. Still ended up with the #3 pick which they were able to turn into a #1 anyway.

Quote:
And yeah, real solid idea you have there to trade Okafor- i'm sure the Sixers weren't trying to, just another mess they've made
.

Sure Why keep a guy around that wasn't in the plans anyway? History has shown that they would have been able to get more for him if they'd traded him earlier. Wrong

Quote:
No question they have plenty of talent but it's not like it's any guarantee they'll all of a sudden morph into a playoff team all at once
.

Wrong. Currently a 4th Seed in the league and on a 11 game winning streak. This even as their best player has missed 15 games and was on a minutes restriction. Could move up to 3rd in the Conf before the playoffs start. In virtual tie with Cleveland and one of the teams no one wants to see in the playoffs.

Quote:
The whole situation seems like a mess....and soon with all these wasted years you're going to start to have contract issues

.
Wrong. Obviously a contender going forward. 2 franchise players in the fold with a 3rd one already potentially on the roster. One of the few teams in the league that could possibly tell Lebron to get the fuck on if they wanted and no one would bash them for it. They don't have to kiss his ass if they don't want to.

You're wrong at every turn at you persist with the

Meanwhile i hope your long languishing Wolves make the playoffs. Or not

If Embiid can comeback from this injury they are going to give teams fits in the playoffs. They have the look of a team that can get to the NBA Finals this season.

They are scary good.

Would love to see a deep run but I’m not sure they’re built for a long series yet, especially if Embiid is out.

Cavs game may have been by favorite of the regular season. An ECF between those two would be a lot of fun, especially with a healthy Embiid.

If they get the third slot i think you can damn near pencil them into the ECF. Irving's injury takes Boston completely out. I see a path for them. If they see Cleveland he will have to get those rotations down and find a guy to slow James down. James bullied them tonight.

If Embiid can play, a Milwaukee/Philadelphia 2nd round matchup will be fun.
