Dont think that’s true. He’s too good for that already.

So far he is struggling.

That’s relative. He’s on pace for 44 points and 12 assists

He is also on pace for 22 turnovers.

He has 6 Turnovers in a little over a quarter

And he’s also setting everything up and has them up by 11 in the 2nd while doing everything.

You’re nuts. Players are allowed to be less than perfect lol

Don't really need you to explain the game to me. 6 turnovers in one quarter is a lot.

Dallas isn't good enough Defensively to stay with the Clippers.

My bad. Wasn’t trying to explain or sound like I knew the game better. But even us less knowledgeable fans know Luka is too good to be shut down by even great defensive players.

Well calling someone "nuts" and then proceeding to condescendingly explain the game to them sort of ends the discussion now doesn't it?

As far as this game goes he hasn't been guarded much by George or Leonard for whatever reason. Maybe Doc is trying to protect them against fouls. Don't know but I wonder if he makes the switch in the 2nd half.

My guess is foul protection. Luka’s going to be a superstar in this series because that’s what he is. That’s all I was saying and it shouldn’t really be a contentious point

Zion would need an inhaler if he tried to have an impact on the game the way Luka does. Then he'd swallow the inhaler.

Superstars struggle too. That shouldn't really be "contentious".

That’s fair. I got you down as him “struggling” this series. I’ll say he is a superstar. We’ll see who is more accurate.

I agree he is superstar player too. But George and Leonard are lockdown defenders. If Doc is going to put Morris on him the whole series then yeah he will play better. I have George or Leonard to give him problems though.

Marcus Morris is always in the middle of bullshit. That ejection changes the game.

Carlisle is such a good coach. It seems small with a 2 point game and no real momentum either way but that feels like a great timeout. I think he knows it could get dangerous for them at any minute too.

I think they would have stretched them out but I would have liked to see them do it with Porzingus in the game.

Dallas isn't a good defensive team.
Hate to see games turn on things like that though.

It’s really inexcusable in a playoff game.

Dallas would have gotten run out of the gym by halftime if this was in LA.

Probably not. It’s like every year your takes get a little worse. I have a vague recollection of your basketball thoughts not being terrible like 5 years ago

With the way they were going, plus Luka's brief injury, they would have fell behind much more than they did ealier this game. The neutrality of the courts is making the games more competitive. I miss the crowds but like the neutrality.

I can’t even tell when you’re being serious with nba posts anymore. Best I can tell it’s like 95/5 trolling/sincere

Paul George has really tightened his handle up. He has the ball on a string these days.

Still doesn’t have that killer instinct. We don’t disagree on his talent but that lack of alpha mentality has to bother you a bit. He has all the pieces.

If this is Luka struggling then I sure hope the bulls can find someone to struggle like that

Doncic spent too much time yelling at Curry for taking that three on a 3-1 fast break that he forgot about covering Morris on that wide open 3 point shot

No doubt but also the play before Tim Hardaway tried to go hero ball into a turnover. Before those two possessions the Mavs were right in it and Luka was in control. His frustration there was palpable and justified.
