I can see it now why ppl picked the Celts. Maybe Miami was a bad matchup for them, but if the Celts keep playing like this the entire series, they'll tire out the Warriors and win this.

I was just thinking that. But I already took the previous good value bet before game 1.

Lot of Celtic unhatched chicken counting. This is a team that was a wide open 3 away from going on vacation and a 8-1/2 pt favorite at home against the Bucks. As much as I'd like to put stock in a 4th quarter where every shot found the bottom of the net, I can't.

This reads like you're trying to convince yourself that the Warriors are as good as you think. Let's not ignore the fact the Warriors had a similar 3rd and 1st quarter or that the Celtics have beaten the 3 best teams in the East and have played great on the road in the playoffs. It's one game, but it is the Warriors who have been fortunate in the playoffs, and they've routinely played piss poor basketball. They were so much better than their inferior competition that it never really bit them in the ass.

We shall see. There's countless examples of Game 1s meaning jackshit. Celtics have been the best team for months. But they do seem to have a tendency to settle when they should be continuing to murder. Nah, I don't think I'm trying to convince myself the Warriors are better. I'm just not convinced the Celtics can keep the pedal to the metal. That and an entire country of casuals having done a 180.
