He is a much better defender and is acknowledged as such with all defensive team honors. He had a better PER, W/48, BPM, and VORP. He has better traditional shooting percentages and a higher TS%. There is no case to be made that John Wall is better than Jimmy Butler. Even if you disregard all the statistical evidence showing Butler is better and go by the eye test, the result is the same. Butler doesn't turn the ball over constantly and take bad shots nearly as often. He doesn't fall asleep on defense. He's better at making more difficult shots and is a far superior half court player. Which player will finish higher on all NBA teams. Which person will garner more votes for MVP? I think there is your argument right there. We both know the answer to that Jimmy Butler is the answer to that too No he isn't. John Wall had a better year and was a decidedly better player during the playoffs. Jimmy Butler is nowhere near the matchup problem Wall is. Don't know which eyetest you are using. |

I just gave you the case for why Butler is better than Wall in just about every way. You haven't even attempted to make a case for Wall. I don't blame you, since there is zero statistical case and the eye test case is even worse. Isaiah Thomas and Dennis schroder both had field days against Wall this postseason as well. |

When I have time I will parse through the a few metrics and select those that favor Wall. You know he will finish higher in MVP voting. That's a slam dunk. He also will be higher on everyone's list for top player at the start of next season. You must have missed the stat where opposing players shot 23% against Wall during the playoffs. Worse percentage against any player in the playoffs. Posted just before game 7. Where are all these field days? |

What were the odds that GS's leading scorer at the half would not be Curry, Thompson, Durant, or Green? An then that player would be shut out in the second half? |

It seems obvious nobody gave a shit about anything this year besides a rematch. its like even the players know the finals last year was not 4 win series... we need to see another 4 wins before we decide which team is really better. which is why the durant trade does kinda piss me off. but on the flip side, it could prove one thing true- if lebron gets a ring this year, thats it. hands down, i don't care what you say- that mother fucker is the baddest ever. wilt, mj... bird... none of those guys will be remembered the same way. |

Damn shame the Spurs are playing without Parker and Leonard. Robbed us of what would have been a great WCF. |

I sure hope the finals are fun to watch. These conference finals are boring as hell. And the fact that they will wait until June to start the finals is ridiculous. |

A little shine time for the supporting cast produced the win needed to get to a gentleman's sweep. They'll lose by 40 next game |

I want Marcus Smart on the Bulls. Give up Butler and the 16th pick for Smart and the 1st pick. Win/win trade |

The fuck was Lebron doing tonight? I mean, I guess it's alright to take a game off when you're 10-0 in the playoffs, but this might have been the worst game of his playoff career. And Game 5 in 2010 was pretty fuckin bad |
