Did I miss some historical context of African Americans rising up and throwing off the shackles of oppression and slavery, while at the same time throwing soup at the white man? Yes. You're completely out of touch. Hey, a white man dumped coffee on a Mexican guy before. |

Nas wrote: FF had him in the MVP conversation a few weeks back . Westbrook is part of the problem with their team. I say this as a Westbrook fan but his attacking take no prisoners approach to the game is detrimental to winning. Great players can always get theirs. They don't have to force it all the time in order to get theirs. Westbrook does and it leads to bad shots turnovers and a disjointed offense far too much. |

I love his aggressiveness but he needs to learn how to play under control. He has help this year. |

Nas wrote: I love his aggressiveness but he needs to learn how to play under control. He has help this year. Me too. He is a Jordan level competitor which is a plus, but he doesn't have a clue on how to play within a team concept. He has been in the league for too long not to have grasped what that entails. |

Was surprised to see that no team in the West has clinched a playoff spot yet. |

You're laughing at the suggestion that the reigning MVP who is averaging a near triple double after actually averaging a triple double is a MVP candidate? Who would you nominate - Jalil Okafor? |

Kyrie "That Bitch" Irving. You swap him for Westbrook and that team gets better instantly. |

Chauncey Billups appears to be a good analyst. First time i've caught him doing a game but he really breaks the game down. |

Regular Reader wrote: The Lakers are going to have tough decisions this summer. Yep. Their turnaround coincided with the insertion of Julius Randle into the starting lineup. They are talking about giving him away for nothing free cap space. That would be a mistake. If they get George and Lebron they have to let Ingram walk. It is funny to say this but I don't know if you go all in for Lebron at this point. His age is showing. He doesn't even attempt to play defense anymore and he is ball dominant. He has to find the right fit for what he likes to do (ring chase) The Lakers with him and George alone aren't contenders. They'd need more than that. |

It's profane to say, but if this team plays out the string like this, I'd probably pass on LeBron and his mileage in favor of the kids and a press for Kawhi. |

Man I wouldn't mind seeing Lebron on the Rockets next year. Or the Blazers. |

OKC has demonstrated that they can play with the better teams in the league all season. They have letdowns against mediocre teams. Corey Brewer signing was a very underrated move by OKC |

Hayward injury might be a blessing in disguise for the progress of Brown and Tatum It might accelerate their growth but you need Hayward for the playoffs. This year, yeah. I don't think they were ever gonna beat the Cavs regardless this year though. If Brown and Tatum can take big steps forward this year though next year might be their year. Wrong again. They'd easily have dispatched Cleveland if fully healthy. |
