Fred Blassie would have been proud.

Your franchise superstar has to play in more than 10% of his career games. That's a bit more important than free throw shooting.

Simmons is the key to this whole thing. Embiid is a luxury that probably won't be available most years. Starting this upcoming offseason they need to retool the roster around Simmons. They'll have some flexibility even with Embiid's contract to make some moves.

Simmons isn't as impactful as Embiid and I just provided the evidence. Of course Embiid has to play. That is not a revelation but the notion that Simmons can carry this team regardless of surrounding talent is foolish. They are 1-6 without Embiid and Simmons wasn't good enough to beat the Bulls and Sac the last 2 games. Again I say this as Simmons fan. I think it is another example of you overrating the guys that you like. You sort of jump out the water with them.

Wait... are you under the impression that Simmons won't improve? That this 7 game sample size is gonna define his career?

It's not overrating guys. It's usually not hard to tell if someone is going to be a future franchise guy pretty early on. Simmons is clearly one.

No he will get better but saying that he will carry any team regardless of talent to 50 wins next year is pushing it. I don't think he will be that good. Certainly not by next year. This thing hinges on Embiid. I gambled on his health. His health is the key to this whole thing.

Well, I do. We will likely find out 16 months from now who is correct.

I don’t think we have to wait 16 months. I am right on this, period.

Sure about that?

I already said I think I was wrong on Simmons. Learn how to read you fucking clown.

Admit you were wrong on Jokic being a great player. If you don’t then you have no credibility. I can admit when a post of mine from years ago ended up being wrong. You can’t even when provided with ample proof and losing $100 in the process.

I just wanted an excuse to post something from that guy’s account. He’s pretty good.

You think they have enough outside shooting?

No I don't but you add those sort of guys at the waiver wire deadline. Wasn't really mad that they allowed Redick or Butler to walk. Redick was a nightmare on defense in both years that he was with the team.

Even if they don't find a shooter or 2 I don't think it will impact them all that much.

They have a roster that is built for the playoffs. Brown's late game coaching moves are what scare me more than anything.

Good question since we all saw how the reacted to a zone...and yes Simmons lack of outside shooting could be a huge problem

I will be to see your raggedy ass come playoff time. Book It! If their guys are healthy I'm taking the action. If they match up against Milwaukee and their guys are all there I'm taking the action. Book It! Or Boston or whomever else you want to throw up against them.

And since you are back on the Jimmy Butler beat with your front running ass I will also give you a bet as to whether they make it out of the first round or not. For me it will all come down to who is hurt and who isn't.

Come playoff time I will be to see you Willy Nilly. Book It!

There you go lying again.

You didn't want action on Butler for All NBA. I offered and you did one of your silly ass gifs as I recall

As far as Embiid goes you are lying again. If I said that prove it.

In the meantime I told you that you had action and once again you immediately started changing the subject again.

Beat it jerk. You are wasting my time.

As far as Embiid goes you are lying again. If I said that prove it.Embiid is a helluva defense player to go along with elite level offense and rebounding. He is as complete a player as the league has seen over the past 20-30 years. Actually easily in the conversation for most talented big that the league has seen.

In the meantime I told you that you had action and once again you immediately started changing the subject again.

Beat it jerk. You are wasting my time.

Brett Brown is a gladhander bullshitter. I think he gladhanded and bullshitted his way into a head coaching job.

Philly is a better team with Embiid but Ben Simmons looks like a much better player without Embiid on the floor. If not better then much different.

He is more aggressive without Embiid.

Embiid with another giant turd so far in the first half
