Some article I read a while back compared him to Marcus Smart, very best case -- Jrue Holiday. Bryce James is supposed to be better than Bronny. He's definitely much taller.

It's gonna suck for this kid if he's not the goods. He'll get pressured from his dad to leave college early instead of improving his game AND GETTING A COLLEGE DEGREE! THE ENTIRE POINT OF GOING TO COLLEGE!

Plus you'll have NBA teams/exec exploit him so his dad can sign with them and they can have a mini NBA Carni show featuring Lebron and his son.

I find it a bit disturbing. I understand for Lebron and his upbringing basketball was the only option to get out of his situation.

But his kids? His kids grew up as millionaires living in the most posh Los Angeles neighborhood. His kids youth is the opposite of Lebrons.

Lebron needs to give them more options than bball. They don't need bball in life like LeBron did. They set . I find it closed minded if LeBron is only giving his kids the option of bball when he can give them so much more with his money, fame, and clout.

The kid is guaranteed an NBA spot. All he has to do is wait for LeBron to hit free agency and LeBron will sign with the team that drafts his son. Not every team will go for that, but someone will...maybe Cleveland again.

If he sticks around more than one year we should get to watch him in Big Ten action. I think it is likely just a lot of hype. Kid is only 6'2 right now so unless he hits one last growth spurt, you have to be ultra dynamic at that size to make the NBA.

Becoming a top 20 player and having the opportunity to play with your father is a great story. It's not the same as following your dad in the accounting or real estate industry.
