In the last five years, Hill shoots 45.4%, scores 13.4 PPG and averages 4.1 APG.

Same stretch, Teague is at 44.6%, scores 15.6 PPG and averages 6.9 APG.

You've always been a PPG over a FG% guy. And even if you wanted to change course, the FG% is within a percentage point. And Teague simply finds more open guys.

3P%? Teague is at 36% vs 38% for Hill. No big disparity there.

They're worth the same money.

Hill was the better player Last year though. I think Teague slipped last year and ATL was more than happy to let Schroeder replace him even before that.

Teague last season had a better VA and EWA.

I think Hill is the better player and better fit, but he can't stay healthy. Teague is always healthy.

Timberwolves will be a top 6 seed and 50 win team barring major injuries.

I guess you gotta do it given his talent but they'd better hope that Wiggins has the tools to play winning basketball. He has shown he can score and he is good at getting his own look but he isn't good at anything else. I think of all the things he is deficient the one which he could become elite at is defense. He should be an elite defender given his physical gifts. I don't think he will improve much on rebounding and passing but I think he can become a lock down defender.

It will. Kinda like Deng and his work ethic helped Butler.

ESPN projected win totals.

Twolves at 50, and a 4 seed. I think FF was maybe the only one to have them that high.

You're high. Bagels and I are devout believers.

I missed a projections thread?

I don't think Bagels had them as a 4 seed. I could be wrong. I think it was one the threads concerning free agency where we were discussing projections.

I think I said their ceiling is a 5 seed.

I'm also starting to think the west will be a little more top heavy than usual this season. The drop off in talent after about the 3 or 4 seed will be just a touch more noticeable than recent years.

After GS, Rockets, Spurs it's going to be more of a jumbled mess than normal with the Clippers falling off, and Utah most likely back to the 10th or 11th best team in the conference.

Are we talking about last season or the coming season?

we will see. 8th seed is typically around .500 give or take a few games. 8 games over is a lot.

So you want to rip Bleacher Report but then link an article from a GQ writer? This is an NBA offseason review, not a Dior cologne review.

This is something else he wrote:

"Find Someone Who Loves You Like Justin Bieber and Post Malone Love Each Other"

Who cares about other articles and I assumed this was an SI piece. The points he makes are relevant. Great Thibs overpaid in both instances. Bleacher Report is about a notch above fanside. UpRoxx has more cred.

I prefer when guys get out in front anyway. Nothing worse than a Monday morning QB. Everyone is an expert in hindsight.

"I'll link a Yahoo Comment as a source when it suits me, and will deny a 30+ year baseball writer when it suits me."

I guess I knew this, but it was nice of you to confirm it.

If he turns out to be right will you salute him? Or will you make excuses?

Who is the 30 year baseball writer? Also which parts other than the writer do you disagree with?

Forget about the Source. He made relevant points. What part of his assessment do you disagree with?

As far as yahoo goes I knew what I was doing and did it anyway. When I provided credible and secondary sources it was discounted also.

Any source can be discredited if a person is inclined to do so.

List of other articles the guy has written. Maybe I should take the opinion of the guy who thinks MCW is a high level player and Portis is Tyrus Thomas over him though.

Tyrus Thomas was better than Bobby Portis.

Yahoo is better than Bleacher Report also.

Sports Illustrated for whom he writes, is also better.

Looking solid in the first half without much bench production.

They're losing to a team that's missing the second best player in the NBA and doesn't have another all star on the roster. Very SOLID.
