Rubio is better than Teague for any team.

I agree and I thought so from the beginning. Bad signing especially for that amount of dough.

I agree as well , my only hope is Jones somehow supplants him as a starter and that's obv extremely unlikely

Timberwolves have the worst defense in the league. I thought that was never supposed to happen to a Thibs coached team?

That kid Ellenson I saw at Northwestern's team camp when he was in high school. Played for some school in Wisconsin at the time. I'd never heard of him. Playing with a bunch of midgets that really weren't that good. You could pretty much tell he was a pro in the Warm up line. He could shoot handle and was about 6'10 6'11. Did the Googles search and sure enough he was top 5 in the country.

They were bad last season too and Butler isn't the defender he was 2 to 3 years ago. Rubio is the best defender they had and they gave him away.

30th by a wide margin according to their announcers. Timberwolves have the best announcers in the league. They keep it real.

Continued faith in Butler is commendable.

They have 3 defenders that are very bad defensively. Butler doesn't much help with that.

He does. A lot. Their defense was fine when they beat the Watch Out World Thunder.

Phoenix is the worst defensive team in the league.

No it wasn't. They gave up 113 points. Watch out world Thunder will be a much better team barring injury by years end.. The Wolves are being blown out for the 2nd game in a row. Both teams aren't that good either.

Once again, total points allowed tells you nothing about how good the defense was in a game.

Their defense stinks regardless of what metric you use. Doesn't matter. Points FG%. Whatever. They don't play all that fast. They shouldn't be allowing the number of points they allow. I'm pretty sure their points per possession stinks too.

They will continue to stink defensively because they have weak defenders. In their top 8 to 9 guys they only have one maybe 2 if you count Taj that's considered good. They don't have any guys that are great defenders. You can't scheme as a means of hiding that.

I don't need any metrics, I watched that entire game. They played well on both ends.

Missing Butler makes a big impact on the defensive side.

Early in the season. No reason to panic. Seems like Jimmy is the heart and soul of the team already with the losses the last two nights in his absence.

Wiggins needs to get on his star status shit tho. Can't be having big games, and then pissing the bed in the next game. Almost like he's going out after a good game, and is hungover the next day .

The defense still looks like trash and KAT can't defend. Have NBA players tuned out Thibs? He might have to go to college for his drill sergeant act to work again.

Just stopped in to post this as well

It's almost like Jimmy Butler is good and makes a difference. Who knew?

I don't know. Sounds farfetched. Wasn't even the highest scorer on his team! He will always be a 5th option on a playoff team.

They beat them. They played well. Beat em up on the glass and Westbrook hurt OKC tonight. George and Anthony had it going early and then he sort of iced them out. He had a stretch in the 2nd quarter where he either turned it over or shot without anyone else touching the ball. It happened on 5-6 possessions in a row.

Minnesota looked good today.
