Rubio blows, they are a PG away from 55 wins.

The last month or two of the season Rubio was playing better than I've ever seen. Showed good range too.

yup. i'm not sure what FA guards are available but i'm certainly fine with them keeping him now

I wouldn't even be mad if they kept Tyus Jones as the backup.

he was great. I watched a ton and he played like I thought he could. I love watching that kid create.

edit: Rubio, not Jones.

They're coming back thanks to Joe Rogan.

There was a time when Thibs coached the Bulls it seemed that he had a full head of hair. Then Thibs would look down, and you could see that big bald spot. As time went on, it seemed that he had more and more landscape to cover, and it was a really bad look. From that shot, he's just another bald guy.

Here is a period photo from 2010:

and headphones in addition to ear buds, and sun glasses even though he hasn't been outside for hours

I think there is something to the people who feel Jimmy went LA a couple of years ago

Minnesota is a small market where it will be harder for butler to gain the notoriety he craves. one poorly written sentence sufficiently summarizes dan's "Point"

Market size doesn't matter anymore.

He doesn't have that look you want associated with your brand. He needs to cut his hair.

This should accelerate Thibs' installation of his defense. If they're mediocre in that department this year then I'd be puzzled.

Towns isn't great on defense. Teague and Wiggins are terrible on defense, although like Zeph said moving to the 2 might help Wiggins

Definitely agree that some of these guys aren't great individually, but systems like Thibs' are greater than the sum of their parts. Having Butler, Gibson, other former players he'll sign, etc., will help him teach and implement that system.

The Chicago Timberwolves still needs shooters.

They need a shooter. CJ Miles, Dion Waiters, Nick Young, Kyle Korver, Gerald Green.

Taj getting $14M a year is insane. He's on the back 9 of his career and is best suited as a 7th man. It's probably a good idea to avoid former players for this reason. They could have gotten a couple of really good shooters for that price and they still have Dieng and Muhammad.

Post subject:  Re: Timberwolves... SOLID

14M is the new 7M in this new structure. I mean Tony Snell is at 12M. Think about that.
