Warriors open at -9 vs. SA tonight. Sportsbook has their O/U at 67 wins. What say you?

The Lakers might not be very good this year.

Thibs 0-1. Hoiberg would have won that game.

you know it's another Sixers season when half their big guys are injured.

but there was actually a Okafor sighting and Ebmiid sighting in the same night. Someone should've been hunting UFO's...they'd probably find one.

This deserves a little more attention. The great Tom Thibodeau lost to a team with 3 second round picks and an undrafted guy in their starting lineup. Mind you all of this occurred after being ahead 20-3 to start the game. In addition is the fact that the opposing team's coach was coaching his first game.

I disagree. My Spurs are clearly better than your front running overrated Warriors. Sorry, pal.

Still fair to use the Embiid pick as the main case against Hinkie's talent evaluation?

I think MCW was always the main case. But yeah, it's still fair to use Embiid as part of the case. Gonna need my top 3 picks to play more than a handful of games every three years before I can call it a good pick.

You don't have to call it good but argued it wasn't even justifiable. Embiid clearly had the highest ceiling in that draft and was the consensus choice for 3 even after the injury came out for good reason. He looked practically unguardable last night, the best post moves for a first-year player in ages.

I'm a big Okafor fan and have been since he was a freshman in high school but Joel Embiid is for real. I didn't think that much of him at Kansas but he has big time game. They will deal Okafor at some point and I wouldn't really blame them if they did. Embiid is the more talented of the two.

Embiid was just a part of the argument. If he stays healthy and becomes a consistently great player, which I doubt, he will be the only person on Philly drafted or acquired by Hinkie who is still on the 76ers when they are good. That's a hell of an indictment against Hinkie.

Cavs-Wizards last night was epic
Best regular season game i've seen in awhile
Lebron w/ the Rex Chapman-esque 3 to send it to OT

really thought the Wiz had it, especially after Lebron fouled out

Kevin Love out 6 weeks after surgery on his left knee.

I expect the Cavs to sign Bosh once the Heat buy out his contract sometime in early March.

is he medically cleared to play ??

I thought there was zero chance Bosh was playing this season? Or is it just that he won't be eligible for the playoff roster?

There's been talk of him signing somewhere for the last month now. The Heat want nothing to do with him, but another team could take a chance with him. I think he actually wants to play and Miami is the one telling him "no". There was even rumors out there of him potentially joining the Bulls.

Right, but if he's not on a different team and cleared to play by March 1st I think he's ineligible for any postseason play.
