I think it may be an apropo time to get this thing going. 4-9 and they yet to get into the meat of their schedule. The adjustment game at Halftime has been absolute murder. +- differential -9 in the third quarter alone. Tendency to play iso ball in crucial situations.

Is it too early to think about a coaching change? Is the Vaunted Thibs the man to coach this talented collection of young players? Light em up Chicago?

Damn my main man Sam. Saw him on NBA TV the other night and he was talking about how he helped develop Lavine and Wiggins. It sounded like he was thumping his chest out a little but I didn't listen all that intently. It was during the Wolves pregame no less. He sounded a little salty about being whacked.

Say it ain't so.

Regardless of which side someone falls on the Thibs ledger, they don't look good. It's early but they are losing to too many teams in which they have superior talent. The 3rd quarter thing is disturbing too.

It's early and I think they will play better but they should be better given the talent. There aren't any injuries either.

I'm sort of trolling with this. He will have at least a 2 year grace period but if you are truly a Wolves fans this start is disconcerting. They haven't really played that many good teams either.

I like their players but it may be a bad mix. I'm not opposed to one on one play but they may have too many guys who think they can play that way.

As far as their post halftime troubles go it's a little bizarre. They look like two different teams pre and post halftime.

The premise behind this particular thread was for it to be shitted up. However seeing that my Thibs thoughts weren't desired in the other threads it was necessary to start this one.

The purity of a pro Thibs thread must be protected at all costs so I thought it necessary to start this particular thread.

Now that this has been settled it is necessary to state that the TWolves thus far have been the league's biggest disappointment.

Rather than focus on whether I am shitting up threads let's focus on that. They stink and no one would have predicted this after 14 games and the great Thibodeau coaching.

Anyone with any basketball knowledge knows that the Wolves weren't going to win this year. IF they suck next year we can talk.

Not about winning though Nas. They are about 13th or 14th in their own conf. Also their top 3 players have also played well and they are still getting crushed by mediocre teams. I don't know how much better those 3 can play. They haven't played many good teams yet.
Pelicans started 0-8 and still have alead surpassed them.

If you are a Wolves fan there should be some concerns.

Nah Bills you have been checking them out and you know this thing has validity. I don't expect him to be whacked for at least 3 years so it's not about that. The Lakers have a better record with that collection of talent and a rookie coach essentially.

The Wolves had the doors blown off by the Pelicans. Not good.

Wiggins was 2-19 and Towns was 4-11 against the Pelicans. Consistency of the young big 3, and atrocious 3rd qtr play are the major issues so far. I don't expect a complete understanding or buy in of Thibs' defensive scheme to translate on the floor until February honestly.

I remember reading an article where someone connected to the league suggested that the league has caught up to Thibs defensive schemes. I wish I could locate it now but I think the guy made the argument that what Thibs did defensively everyone does now thus it really isn't revelatory anymore. Don't know if I buy it but it was a pretty interesting article.

They need to figure out what to do with Rubio and they also might have to make move with Levine too. Like Levine but I don't know if he plays a winning brand of ball. He looks like a guy that plays for statistics. He plays a little selfishly. Helluva a talent though.
