He can pack his bags too. If he lasts the season i'd be surprised. He will be whacked at the end of the year for sure.

You want to place an avatar or any type of other wager as to whether he will be fired at the end of the season? Or before?

I will take that action..

I know you are bothered that your beloved Thibs was what I thought he was to quote the great Dennis Green but get over it.

You're missing the point. I think your Thibs voodoo doll is getting lonely. You should get back to it

Nah because there is absolutely no doubt in my mind thar if he were performing well you'd be baskong in the glory and bumping threads. You can beat it with the high road B.S.

Actually this article was relevant thats why i posted it.

He is cooked in Minnesota.

I'm sure your belief in this prediction is as strong as it was when you first posted it back in 2016, or during the five or so times you mentioned it last week.

Again i'm willing to make any wager that you want to make that he will be whacked no later than the close of the season. He is done by May. What say you?

Its not my fault you had it wrong about the guy. Do you want me to bump all of those threads where you fawned over him as if he was 2nd coming of Pat Riley? I can if you'd like.

Missing the point yet again. Thibs record in Chicago save for the last year is unassailable. Best coach in Bulls history after PJ. Mixed bag in Minny. Led them to the postseason for the first time in forever but is not proving to be a good GM. He should stick to what he's good at, which is coaching.

You attempting to make an avatar bet on Thibs' longevity when he's on his last breath is not a good look. You should have offered that bet the day you started thinking he should be fired, which was his first day on the job.

Past is for cowards and losers. He did exceptionally well the first 2 seasons that was here. He also had really good talent and happened to benefit from playing in a shitty conf.

What often gets overlooked is the fact that he had really good players. Paxson whom you repeatedly bash all the time, supplied him with very good players.

He is an average coach but he isn't a great coach. Do you remember how much his defensive abilities were touted? Have you seen his defensive ratings since he has coached Minnesota?

The other part that you often overlook is that Thibs is a very defiant individual. He is a shit starter and prone to insubordination..This is one of the things that surfaced during his time here and it resurfaced in Minnesota. No doubt it contributed to his firing and it should.

You can't have an employee that is essentially a rogue operative. He is definitely demonstrated in both spots that he is that.

@wojespn: Fred Hoiberg is a serious consideration of Minnesota owner Glen Taylor to become either the GM or head coach in the future, league sources tell ESPN. Hoiberg was an assistant GM in Minnesota prior to Iowa State. Scott Layden remains GM now.

Thibs is a great coach, but NBA players can't be coached like high school or college kids. The NBA guys are prima donna's and when they get paid a lot more than the coach. When they decide not to play for the coach then the coach gets fired.

Despite not winning a title as a head coach, Thibs is a great coach and his defense did basically change the NBA. He obviously wears out his welcome with his players and the organizations he works for, but he still deserves another job.

Most people are fired after a loss, Thibodeau was fired after winning by 22 points. He must have told Taylor to go fuck himself.

I'm ok with this.

The pups need to run a fast paced offense, and he just isn't about that life.

Watch Fred come in, and they get the 3 or 4 seed.

Btw, Glen Taylor is a horrible owner.

I'm not disagreeing here, but did he kind of come out of nowhere as a horrible owner? I know he's been the owner for a long time, but I thought he was pretty hands-off for a long time.

he's a terrible coach, but a great defensive assistant.

Good riddance. Why anyone ever gave him another chance is beyond me.

He's still got the "any day now" streak for Trump and Mueller. On a long enough time line every Chicken Little is right.
