Most criticized people have been Rubio and Thibs. They are seeing through the fraudulence. At some point you will too. Wrong about Josh Smith. |

He had a good year after being waived by Detroit. |

Wolves currently 18 games under .500 after losing to lowly Lakers. On their way to losing 50 or 51 games despite top 2 players playing the entire season. |

Comments weren't warranted in the pro Thibs thread so I started this one. He definitely goes on the clock next season however. I don't see this squad getting appreciably better either. Wiggins and Towns have arrived as players and so has Lavine and even Rubio. You kind of know what you have in each of them already. The 3 young guys may get a little better but that still doesn't place them in championship contender territory. |

All of this interest in a two bit franchise because an overrated coach beloved by local fans took the job. Until further notice he is falling flat on his face and I called it last year when he got the job. Gets you nothing in the grand scheme of things but anyone that thinks I'm going "leave it alone" is delusional. They stink which is the primary reason fair weather Wolves fans are ducking the conversation. |

I will say that I think you are more Wolves fan than lover of Thibs. I've read your stuff throughout the season and you see some of the same things that I see. You also haven't used a lot of excuses or preached patience. 13th in the West wasn't what was expected prior to the start of the season. An increase by 2 victories wasn't either. The Thibs guy shouldn't be whacked over it but he should not be given a pass either. |

Did you find it particularly offensive when Hoiberg''s was considered a failure prior to the start of game 1 of his coaching career? What about when he was 23-15 out the gate yet still considered terrible? How about using Lavine's injury as an excuse (as you've done) yet never once absolving Hoiberg for all the injuries last season? How about the new one regarding rough and tough Western Conference. You do realize that they have lost to Sacramento Lakers twice and the Pelicans during the past two weeks. They got bailed out by the refs against Indiana too. How can you explain that? By any metric you wish to cite he is failing. I could easily make the argument that Hoiberg is doing a better job of coaching his team this season than Thibs has of coaching his. |

Yeah that's a trolling thought you'd know but seriously if Butler is the player guys on here believe him to be and Thibs the coach people believe him to be then they should be top 4. Towns and Butler are top 10 guys and they have Wiggins and Rubio. No lower than top 6. That's not a troll job either. Thibs is on the clock. |

I thought Towns could be a Duncan like player but I'm not sure he has the heart. The Wolves don't have a leader but should make the playoffs unless there is a plane crash. |

They have 3 ball stoppers on the team and only one is really dynamic. West should be a little weaker next season so that will help. |

None of them are ball stoppers though. Towns, Wiggins, and Butler all freely share and move the ball, and Butler particularly is a very skilled passer. It's usually not a problem to have three very good scorers on a team with a pass first point guard. |

Rubio will help. He really improved a lot the 2nd half of last season. Towns needs to take a huge step for them to make noise. Butler as a #2 would be ideal. |

Led one of the most dysfunctional Bulls teams I've ever seen into the playoffs. He's their missing link. Look for 50-55 wins from them next year and MANY articles about how great he is with a proven coach and quality teammates. |
