Knicks head of basketball ops = Thibodeau's former agent? Seems like you'd wanna go with a coach who'd be chill with tanking for another season or two. Instead Thibs will run the young Knicks into the ground in a pointless attempt to land an 8th seed in the East

no surprise he got a job. He's well above .500 as a coach. He's the only coach to take Minnesota to the playoffs since Garnett was there. He won playoff series including one where Nate Robinson was his best player. He's gotten good results out of young players with KAT and Wiggins having their best years with him and of course D Rose winning MVP.

Knicks are definitely a team who needs a guy like Thibs to teach them what it means to be a professional. Team is loaded with underachieving lottery picks.

Wrong about getting rehired but correct about him being a low demand commodity. Had to take the worst job in the league just to get back into it. Will be toast by the end of year 2. Book It!
