Doc Rivers still sucks. Unprofessional and unethical, especially if Ray Allen's allegations are true. He should be nowhere near a HC job unless he undergoes basic business conduct training. Gentry appears to be proving me wrong but we'll see.

That's fair enough. Doc is doing a helluva job coaching and all it proves is that he shouldn't be a GM. They have already removed that title. That dude is a helluva coach. Proves it year in and year out. He also is a helluva developer of talent.

He has 1 championship and that was with 3 HOF'ers in their prime. Anybody could have coached that team to a title. The rest of his coaching career has been littered with underachievement, or outright failure.

Those guys weren't in their prime. Ray Allen was 33 or 34 years old and Garnett was about 32 or 33. Pierce was the only one that was 29 or 30.

Doc Rivers was without his best players during every season as coach of the Clippers. Whether it was the playoffs or otherwise and he still won 50 games each season.

Look at what he is doing this year.Look at that team.

The people on this board bash him yet praise Thibs and he is a much better coach. Look at the record of his team this season without nowhere near the talent. His team is right there in the playoff hunt.

He also is doing without the guys considered to be his players available. Injuries, trades, whatever. That guy gets it done.
