It's per person... I played the Gridiron Dynasty there for a couple of years a while ago.

You also don't get the player, you get a specific year of a player. So you have to say '89-90 Jordan. Makes it interesting because you can find bench value in guys like a 2005-06 Mike James or a 2012-13 Larry Sanders.

Yeah, I'm messing around with it now. Haven't paid yet but doing the free trial thing or whatever. Looks like for the free version you just pick a team with a salary cap and it places you in a random league. Cant seem to find when the games are played or the league schedule or whatever though.

The exhibition (free) teams put you in a 6 team league, and then if you pay the money, you can create your own custom league, but I believe it requires the full pop of 30 teams.

I think you can build teams under SimMatchup -> Dream Teams and then you would have to manually run the games, but that would let you do this with just 12 teams in a league.

Anyone have a sim site that doesn't make you pick a specific year? Once we have one, we can get rolling. If not, I'm sure we could still make it work with parameters.

While I was finishing up some work tonight, I tried hunting around for one that would do the career instead of specific years, but found really nothing. I'm thinking maybe you just pick a player, and then whatever year has the highest salary in WiS is the one you get (possibly let people override if they want.) Arguably the best year would probably be the highest paid in that game -- at the very least you would get a pretty good representative season for the person.

Looking at it some more, there are only 3 teams available to setup for "free play" so you wouldn't be able to put in a league of 12 hypothetical teams. If you actually wanted to create a league, it looks like you could set it up with no cap, and then do our 12 teams in the Eastern conference... after we were all setup, you could then open it up for other people to fill. I don't know if you can control how the teams get distributed though -- I am pretty sure in baseball, they were randomly distributed after all the teams were entered.
