Someone should sign Oak as an assistant coach.

Dolan on fans not liking him: "I don't believe everybody feels that way, but there's a malcontent group that will always feel that way."

I've got some bad news for you James.

He was an assistant with Charlotte for a couple seasons. I'm sure if he gave his guy M-Jeff a call, he could get back on the bench.

Kicking him out in the first place was wrong. Continuing the ban is wrong. Legally he can do it but as you proved in the Mixon thread we don't have to share the same legal opinion on what is right and wrong.

Not to go too Bernstein here, but the continued ban may actually be a liability issue, at least a little bit. Oakley was physically abusive to MSG staff, so if Dolan, who has the power to keep him out of the building, doesn't or even invites him to return, and Oakley gets so much as bitchy with any other MSG personnel, Dolan could be up to his eyeballs in lawsuits for creating a "hostile work environment".

knicks fans got more out of that fight than they have watching that pathetic excuse for a team. he should be the halftime entertainment.

I really hope Dolan doesn't go bankrupt fending off the tidal wave of lawsuits coming from endangered MSG workers.

I can just hear Dolan saying to the Commissioner and MJ "I CAN BAN HIM! DID YOU READ THE BACK OF THE TICKET!?".

What a PR disaster. Banning him kept the story in the news. Ugly on all fronts.

Dolan is actually off the hook now. It's David Silver and the NBA that will get sued .

This just keeps getting better for the Knicks:

Quote:
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green said New York Knicks owner James Dolan operates with a "slave master mentality" by taking issue with Charles Oakley's criticisms after the organization benefited from his contributions as a player.
