I can crosscheck it but you really don't want to fight the Irving battle again do you? It has already been decided and his numbers are better across the board than last season. Maybe I need JBills to chime in and respectfully ask that you concede the point since I'm the only one that doesn't around here.

I'm talking about James. I'm trying to follow you here. They won the title last year. Irving destroyed Curry.
It's 2017. James has basically the same numbers as last year, but now all of a sudden you're claiming he's slowing down and that they won't get out of the East.....despite Irving's numbers being better. What am i missing here ?

The Teams they will play have gotten better and Cleveland's defense is atrocious right now. They are much worse than they were last season defensively. That is why I'm picking them to lose. Not overly confident as I was with Irving or even Minnesota but I'm rolling with it. James isn't impacting games in other ways like he has in the past and they have no rim protection.

So the King doesn't bring it night in and out? Plus having the 2nd oldest team in the league doesn't help

NBA leaves such a bad taste in my mouth ( go ahead with your sophomoric humor) Cavs resting their starters tonight :puker:

Holy shit. Lebron has to be in consideration for GOAT. And I don't even like the guy.

LeBron could theoretically finish with a better career than Jordan due to longevity and depending on how much one values that. But at their best Jordan was clearly better.

I agree, but Good God... he not only makes every team he goes to good... he makes them a fucking juggernaut.

Yeah, he has played some shitty competition... but if he beats GS this year, that argument is invalid.

I think it's still somewhat valid. He's not making 7 straight Finals without ditching his team twice AND playing in a historically weak conference

Maybe... but in the eyes of public opinion, I don't think it will matter. Then again, in the eyes of public opinion, no one will ever pass Jordan anyway.

Lebron is freakin' amazing, though. I agree that he's not facing the competition that others have, but the dude has an impact that is almost hard to believe. If you took him off Cleveland, they'd be a .500 team and bow out in the first round.

Yeah, he's great. But your last sentence could apply to a few different guys. The Spurs without Kawhi look like a 30 win team.

Yep. He came to back to play with Kyrie. He doesn't come back without Kyrie and the trade for Love being in place.
