Yeah you called it about a year or so ago. That was before D'Antoni too. Morey's off season pickups were on the money.

This is the end of San Antonio though.

The Spurs have won a title and been to the Finals twice since their last CFMB-predicted demise

No Tim Duncan. Like Kawhi but he isn't enough and Aldridge is a fraudulent wing man. They're done and I wouldn't be surprised if Pop steps down after next season.

Kawhi is too young for them to be done. They will retool this offseason. I'm surprised that Aldridge has been this pedestrian. I thought he would be Duncan lite

Thank god for Chandler Parsons. Single handedly keeping LaMarcus off the worst contract list. Bravo.

I see you trolling me

We can include the whole NBA Finals and you guys will still look silly.

Which player is more likely to post the following stat line during a NBA Finals series, Bowen or Pippen:

16.5 ppg 10.3 rpg 6.3 apg 1.7 spg 1.0 bpg

Do you want to stop now or want me to keep proving my point?

Yeah that one time marbury crossed GP made me rethink GP's place in the pantheon of NBA legends. It was that epic. Sort of like how Iverson is inarguably better than Jordan because he owned him in Philly for a three to five minute stretch. Freaking brutal.

I like Bruce Bowen but I wouldn't compare him to Reggie Miller. Draymond is a nice player but he isn't in the same league as Barkley. Barkley is a top 5 PF and Green is a role player. Have some respect for a legend.

Sorry man but I gotta throw you in the casual fan category if you're comparing Draymond to Bowen. He's more like Scottie Pippen

Good God, hit the showers.

Get real, man.

Which player is more likely to post the following during GAME SEVEN OF THE NBA FINALS, Bruce Bowen or Scottie Pippen:

32 points. 15 rebounds, 9 assists, 11--15 FG, 6-8 3pt

This is the second year in a row we are having this discussion and the second year in a row all of you seem not to know what the fuck you're talking about. I'm trying to be nice about it but at a certain point I feel obligated to tell you guys you are straight up wrong in your evaluations of him.

Most Game 7's have a role player that comes up big because the focus is on the stars

You are wrong but even if you believe you are right read my post above this and it will debunk that ridiculous narrative.

No actually I believe he gave him 40 in back to back games but continue on with bad troll jobs if you like.

So that's your case? And this means what? Payton is a HOFer and Marbury eats at McDonald's in Beijing.

It's a lot more than doing a simple crossover or move which always seems to be your play when you are unaware of something. Memory was off a little. 41 one game 35 another. He didn't have a better career but Stephon Marbury was far from a bum if that's what you are implying.

No evidence that Draymond is closer to Bruce Bowen than Scottie Pippen

Less than 3 points more than Bowen averaged for his career.

He's been in the league for five seasons, and his first two seasons combined he averaged 17 minutes per game. Don't be disingenuous.

Draymond's Per 100 Possession's stats:

16.4 ppg, 12.5 RPG, 7.3 APG

Draymond's Career PER and WS/48

PER: 15.6
WS/48: .149

Bruce Bowen's:

PER: 8.2
WS/48: .086

Scottie Pippen's:

PER: 18.6
WS/48: .146

And Draymond is about to be named to his third straight All Defensive first team and win his first DPOY.

This argument is ridiculous.

Don't be dumb(I realize its too late for this thread).

Rodman would never have scored 32 in a game 7 of the NBA Finals. That's what seperates them. Draymond Green can score. He's just not asked to.

When was the last time Rodman averaged 7+ apg in a season? I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

When's the last time Green averaged 16 boards?

And he shoots 43% at his size with the luxury of being completely selective. Dude isn't a scorer.

I think Pippen is the best, although it's not a great comp. Barkley is a horrible comp.

My main point is that Draymond Green is a star. Role players dont get 32-15-9 in Game 7's of the NBA Finals. It doesnt happen., Role players dont average 14.5 - 9.9 - 7.7 - 1.5 - 1.4 while being named first team all defense. It doesnt happen.

If I had to pick a former Bull as a comp, I'd go Scott Williams or Jason Caffey.

Maybe we can compromise by calling him a Boris Diaw type with the strengths and weaknesses inversed: really good D, limited O, and stat sheet stuffer.

No. Sorry, but we cannot compromise by calling him Boris Diaw

For the 100th time, Draymond Green is a star.
