Teams are helped tremendously by the lack of scoring threats. There are a lot of unskilled guys littering many an NBA team. As stated earlier Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith would be 9th and 10th men on the Showtime Lakers.they Start for an NBA finals team. That's the one noticeable difference for me.

No they don't. James Worthy was a 20 points a game scorer as was Scott. Magic avg 18 or better throughout his career too. You weren't going to beat them with Gimmicks.

They also would have made Iggy and Green be scorers. The Lakers used to get the ball out the net and push it down people's throats.
