Bulls pick at #38. If Sterling Brown from SMU is around, wouldn't mind him.

Drafts are the most boring and overrated things in sports. It's just a bunch of morons on ESPN trying to fill time between picks (half of which they already know).

This is a sad excuse for draft coverage. I think even the MLB draft coverage is better than what I am

apparently it moved to NBA TV - and the production of it was weird and bad. All the flashbacks to previous picks in ___ slot were dumb, and there was no announcing of the names by Silver ? I don't get it

Silver looks like Nosferatu. Better to keep him off the tv.

Some interesting stuff. Will be fun to watch and see if he is right or not. He makes some good points. But he is also the guy that was down on Westbrook

A lot of people were unsure about Westbrook.

Ball's game doesn't translate to the NBA. I thought that the first time I saw him and I think it now. I will be checking out the Summer League next week. They play Philly in game 2. It will be interesting to see he and Fultz hook it up.

Take notes on a article from 4 months ago from a writer who admits that he thought Lonzo ball would be a bust in COLLEGE. Yea I'll pass on that.

And that's some great analysis in there. Admits that Lonzo has amazing vision and passing skills as well as great confidence and 3 point shooting, but says he won't be a star because he didn't take very many 2 point shots in college. Not that he didn't make many, he simply didn't take many. Also, says he needs to play better defense (like many other players coming into the league) and doesn't like contact (i.e. needs to gain weight like 90% of the other players who come into the NBA).

Keep reaching doofus.

I'm sure you'll be back here in a couple weeks to rip on Lonzo based on a bad game he has in a meaningless summer league game.

Still waiting for your other prediction about Lonzo dropping like a rock in the draft to happen. I guess Magic didn't read that ground breaking article???

As if college basketball is meaningful jerk. I piggybacked on someone else's article. I'll own it though. As your clown ass said draft position has no bearing on how a person performs in the league. huh?

There is however a direct correlation between draft position and expectations though. A No.2 in a strong draft should be an all star. Really should be a multiple time all star.

Weight won't make him more comfortable taking contact either. Defense doesn't matter in your basketball world. There are different degrees to being a bad defender. A guy with no mid range game and struggles finishing at the rim. Doesn't matter. Ok

You said stud. We will see and it's not going to take 5 years either. You threw that number out to buy a little time. Shit wont work idiot.

I will stand on this one too.

Jayson Tatum will be a better pro than Lonzo Ball. Book it

Based on what I've seen and read this season I wouldn't be surprised if Donovan Mitchell is the biggest draft day climber in the lottery. Could even see him going ahead of Monk and maybe even Dennis Smith Jr if people are worried about his attitude and they consider him pretty equal to Mitchell.

I think the top 5 is pretty much set in stone with Fultz, Ball, Jackson, Tatun and Fox not necessarily in that order. Rounding out the top 10 should be Monk, Mitchell, Smith, Markenan and Isaac.

After that, anyone's guess.

Gonna be an exciting draft with all these amazing prospects.

Seems like some NBA teams should've taken my advice on Donovan Mitchell.

Remember when noted board idiot No Great Shakes disputed this little piece of info oh so vehemently?

Seems he was wrong again.

Ball wasn't a Magic selection after all. Magic wanted Fox.
.

But it appears Johnson's problems with the organization he loved didn't start when James tore his groin on Christmas Day.

No, the tension between Johnson and Lakers owner Jeanie Buss reportedly can be traced back to the 2017 NBA Draft. In February, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith reported that Buss had pushed Johnson to draft Lonzo Ball, when Johnson wanted to select Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox. This report, while disputed by the Lakers, reportedly became a tension point between Buss and Johnson, The Athletic's Bill Oram reported Tuesday.

Smith even said at the time that Johnson would deny the report, but rumors of Johnson preferring Fox over Ball have swirled for quite some time.
