I’m getting more down on RJ Barrett. He either has to change his game or become a better 3 point shooter. There’s no 3rd option.

“Can’t miss prospect” is the most overused term in draft terminology but it’s true with Zion. Barring injury there’s a 0% chance he’s not a 10x all star in the NBA. I can’t fucking wait.

Probably. I’m enough of a homer to get psyched if we get Morant or Garland instead but yes Zion puts us immediately in 2017-2018 76ers territory without having to tank for a decade to get there like they had to and without a Mr Glass superstar like Embiid

Lauri and WCJ is literally the perfect frontcourt to pair with Zion for the ultimate 3.4.5 in the modern NBA. You can always find a good pass first defensive PG to round that out. The basketball gods need to make this happen.

I don’t disagree. I get the idea of “hey it’s prisoner of the moment, etc, etc” but that’s just bullshit. Zion is gonna absolutely fucking own the league. Giannis and Kawhi(if he even cares enough to, who fuckin knows with that head case) are the only current guys that will be able to even know what to do with him defensively in the upcoming years.

All due respect to Anthony Davis but I’m more than confident saying Zion is the best pro prospect since LeBron. I love the NBA enough where even if he doesn’t go to the Bulls (probably won’t) I still cannot fucking wait to see him next years. Already hyped.

He needs to go to the Bulls. If he doesn’t I’d love seeing him with Atlanta and Trae and Collins.

Wendell Carter is Al horford if he stays healthy. I can’t even think of a more perfect comp. he’s gonna be a very good player on winning teams for a decade.

Lavine’s Future is much more questionable.

From what I can tell Rick and Leash are the only ones on here doubting Zion besides WWN but Walt has certified dementia at this point.

I truly don’t know what can go wrong outside of injury.

That’s not gonna happen. What seals him as generational is that he also seems to be the most competitive great player in college right now. He has the basketball IQ and competitive fire to get to where he’s going.

Imo anyone doubting him is either trying to be contrarion on purpose (I respect this but holy shit is it misguided here) or just plain dumb as fuck.

I'm leaning that you may be right. Zion jumps off the tv screen with the wow moments and his lay it all on the line passion.

The great ones are over achievers. They just happen to have extreme talent also.

Barely winning these games with much more talent on the Duke side. I think Zion will have a fine career, I just don't think he's gonna be an all timer like MJ, Duncan, LebronBird, Magic. He's got to get an outside shot

Not crazy at all when you consider the fraud who is "coaching" Duke.

Still waiting for Coach K to design a winning play since 1992 Duke vs Kentucky.

This whole year, K just rolled the ball out there and let the talent do the rest. No adjustments were made in the games they lost, no great plays were drawn up in the final minutes of any of their close games.

It's cute when he pays attention to college basketball for a weekend each year.

Draft Darius Garland and he can live in Oak Park and be Oak Park Vandy.

not watching, but I assume it's a Bol Bol video.

Bol Bol is very intriguing. Unfortunately his frame and size of his twigs are very scary.

His dad was taller and scrawnier and was reasonably healthy. Already foot problems which is a huge red flag for a big man however.

as you said, he's already having foot problems which is a huge red flag for a big man. He's not worth gambling a top 5 pick on I don't think. As an Atlanta Hawks fan I'm intrigued since they have 2 lottery picks most likely in the 5-8 region of the draft. He could be worth a flyer with one of those.
