He should thank his lucky stars they are not interested.

He seems like the perfect guy to coach in college at a place like Kentucky. Only way he should be interested is if he is going to be under investigation

Quote:
Kentucky head coach John Calipari reached out to Knicks through intermediaries to express interest in the Knicks presidency, per ESPN league sources. The Knicks do not have interest in Calipari at the moment, per league sources. Presumably, Calipari would want to coach as well if he took over as president. The Knicks parted ways with president Phil Jackson earlier this week. Current GM Steve Mills is handling the club's day-to-day operations and is expected to lead them through free agency.

I think I read earlier they reached out to Isiah Thomas and he said no

Knicks schadenfreude is great but I've had my fill of it by now. Hopefully they get good again at some point.

Not with Dolan there.

I know. It's like Reinsdorf. A guy can dream.

Did he seriously call Thomas to come back? If he did he's even crazier than I thought. And even he's not that crazy he's still ten times worse than Reinsdorf the Bulls owner. The Sox owner sucks.

I have no idea, I didn't even read the articles, just saw these two headlines pop up in my twitter feed.

People don't want to go to the Knicks expecting to be successful. Calipari just saw what a sweet deal Jackson got and wants to similarly scam Dolan or at the very least force the idiots in Kentucky to pay him even more money before he'll inevitably bounce.

Phil Jackson was paid $50,000 a day during his Knicks tenure

I can't believe they would consider Isaiah again after the sexual harassment shit show guest starring Steph Marbury.

Isaiah should have taken the job, brought Steph in to coach a random collection of Chinese ballers, and laughed as Rome burned.
