He's gonna start for them. He's good still. But yeah that's a ridiculous contract.

Denver holds a team option for that third year. They will probably let him walk after two. Milsap is a very good player but he is getting up in age. Didn't realize he is 32 now.

Just checking to say that this is, by far, the most fucked up sports organization not named FIFA.

Care to explain how? ESPN and TNT needed to re-up their deals with the NBA. I did my thing and boom everyone got rich. Except for ESPN. But that's not my problem.

Good to see Sacramento quickly put to bed the absurd notion that they maybe possibly knew what they were doing offseason.

Woj and Aldridge are saying not so fast. Hoping that's the case and he stays in Utah or goes to Miami. It's never wrong to want to feel schadenfreude towards Boston fans, regardless of the sport.

Yeah just read Woj's tweet. Strange because ESPN is reporting it. And Woj is their guy now

Gone back to play for Brad Stephens like everybody knew he would, hope it's enough to win the east this year.

Clippers signed that euro Miles guy. Thank God. Been expecting GarPax to sign him to a 4 year deal for days now.

They won't disappoint, just watch. They'll sign VC when he turns 38 and make him the face of the rebuilding process.

there's very little better than Doc Rivers being exposed for a fraud as a GM. He lost me when he brought in his own son.

That's a Bulls move - I wouldn't be excited at all. Should have landed George or Butler.

You undervalue players who are in their early 30's and this is another case. Gasol's 32, shot 38% from 3 and averaged a career high ppg and apg last year. He would fit in perfectly with Boston's scheme too and should be able to play well with Horford. It'd be a great addition.

Any team trading for George that isn't the Lakers is dumb. You're a championship or bust guy. Why would you give up assets for one year of Paul George - a year in which you have no chance of winning the title? The Thunder have zero chance of resigning him.

He is going to resign with the Thunder. Book it. Better franchise. Better Team. He also can sign for more money. Lakers have been garbage for about 5 years now and they don't have one player currently on the roster that you'd want to build around.

I'm willing to wager $100 to any poster I can trust that George is a Laker in 2018-2019. I'll give the other person the field. Something to consider ltg.

It's true about the 30s but maybe it makes sense in Boston because they're in win now mode. We don't know about George to LA yet. If he was in Boston he may come within a game of reaching the finals or maybe even lose in the finals. Hard to walk away from that situation to join the shitshow in LA, led by an egomaniac father.

George and his people really couldn't have made it any more clear he will be in LA after next season. I'd put the odds at about 90%. There's no chance I'm giving up assets for him if I'm a GM. Hayward isn't really a significant downgrade and you can lock him in for your 2-3 year window you have with this core

Paul George is going to get exposed in the West. He's going to be the next Kevin Love, big fish in a small pond that doesn't gear up properly in a secondary or third wheel role.
