Derrick Rose in serious discussions with the Cavs for... wait for it... just wait... a $2.1 million minimum contract for next year.

Idk... Could be a good fit as a back up, but I don't think he helps the defense.

Not even Phil or Isaiah would be that dumb. Maybe Kyrie wants to get out to the Lakers before John Wall takes his spot on LeBron's next super-team.

Having LBJ on your team doesn't mean it's super at this point.

I'd just like to reiterate how awesome it is that GarPax jumped on the tank plan (and kept their jobs!) as the East continues to get shittier around them, especially since the Suns are the most likely candidate for Irving.

Sources: In the Kyrie Irving meeting with Cavs, one of primary teams raised as a preferred trade destination for him: The San Antonio Spurs.

Why the fuck does everyone want to got to the West when the East sucks and Lebron is going to LA next year?

Did you think they were going anywhere with Butler, Rondo, and Wade?

Not in particular. But blowing it up and selling off draft picks for money isn't going to get them very far either. Nor would signing Rose again which they are trying to do.

it will also make it harder for them to tank if all the other teams in their conference suck ass too....prolly win more than they should just on that alone

Can't blame him for wanting to team up with the one guy capable of knocking off the Warriors

@ChrisBHaynes ESPN Sources: On Kyrie Irving front, Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio, Minnesota.

The Knicks and Cavs can exchange their respective shitty defenders!

Said he doesn't want to play with Lebron.

NY, Miami, SA, and MN his preferred destinations.

To spite him, they should trade him to the Bulls.

Not surprised that Chicago isn't there. At least we scored 32 year old Ben Wallace! Premier free agent destination for sure!

He wants to play with Butler. If they kept him Chicago would probably be on that list.

Ian Begley‏ @IanBegley Kyrie Irving also considered the Chicago Bulls as a potential trade destination before the club traded Jimmy Butler, per Cavs sources

I still stand by my opinion that Kyrie isn't winning anything as the alpha. I just read he considered asking for a trade after they won a ring. This guy is out of his mind. He ain't shit on his own.
