He will play in the NBA but the easiest thing to do is let someone sign him and allow Dallas to match. In the good old days teams would do that simply to fuck up the matching team's salary cap. Noel isn't even worth the trouble of doing that.

He's obviously proven himself at minimum a valuable rotation player. He thinks he's more than that and isn't gonna tie himself down to a multi year contract at a 8th man price. That's why he isn't signed yet. His agent even makes that clear in the link. We talked about this already. Bump this when he actually signs a contract. Until then everything is baseless speculation.
