So now that we've determined the eye test to be fucking stupid:

NBA Finals 2017, Game 4.

LeBron had a triple double and primarily guarded Draymond Green while Richard Jefferson handled Kevin Durant. Cavs won by 21.

Your eye test may be stupid. Mine works quite fine. James rarely guarded Green that series and Green is nothing more than an undersized 4 anyway.

You provided a picture of Dirk. That was stupid. Eye test isn't providing a picture as evidence either. Watch the games and it isn't even a discussion. James didn't guard Dirk during the Dallas series. Anyone that actually watched the games would know that.

Yeah those eye test really can be stupid. Why would anyone ever conduct scouting when all they'd have to pump information into computers?

I see you're ignoring the recent NBA Finals. Very Sad.

Eye test suggested that James mostly guarded Durant. That's why. I already noted that Green is an undersized 4 anyway.

You're also ignoring the Dirk stuff. Probably because it can t be spun.

“I think by putting him (LeBron) on Draymond (Green), it’s really ignited him as far as defensively,” Lue said. “And offensively he’s just been taking his shots in rhythm and taking what the defense gives him. He’s been playing at a very high level.”

So Tyronn Lue must not know who LeBron guards. Got it.

You should coach.

Very insightful article by Woj.

I thought this line "But for now, most Irving suitors are using the Timberwolves-Bulls trade model for Jimmy Butler, a scaled-down model of Melo's rich return of assets" was rather interesting given how I've been told Irving would command far more on the trading market than Butler because he had so much more value to the rest of the league.

Like with Butler we won't know what his trade value happens to be until well you know he is actually traded. I never heard of there being six offers for Butler. In fact it is ironic that the only team to seriously bid for Butler is the same team that bid last year.

If Cleveland doesn't accept a Butler styled offer then they must think he is worth more. They already turned down Paul George for Irving.

Also noteworthy are the comments made by guys that have played with and against. Basically said the kid is a killer.

Is "undersized 4" a foreign term for you? Draemond Green is smaller than LeBron. That is the case in height and weight. You made up something about Dirk and you're running from it because you can't validate it.

Kyrie Irving sucks. Worst handles in the league for a PG and was over drafted at no 1. Cleveland will win more games without him. Worst skillset for a starting pg in the league.

Draymond Green occasionally plays center, too. So you'd also like to call him an undersized 4.

I did not make up anything. You sent a youtube video with highlights of Dirk Nowitzki making shots (mostly foul shots). A highlight video will, of course, not include any plays in which LeBron shut Dirk down.

What about the video I showed you of LeBron guarding Pau? Is Pau "an undersized 4?"

Come on man. I know it's difficult to concede but come on. 34 minutes worth. There were 3 guys that were assigned to him throughout that series and none were LeBron James. You cherry picked a damn picture and use that as irrefutable evidence.

James "shut him down" yet Dirk won the MVP anyway. What a paradoxical web we weave.
