Is this his last year as the best player in basketball? How many years does he have left? At some point Father Time will come knocking. He's going to be at 54k career mins when this season is over. That puts him in the top 10 in mins played at 33.

I think this coming year will be his last year as King.

I think his defense will start to decline rapidly. But he will still score double doubles regularly. Best player in the NBA? I think he is in the team picture for 3 more years.

Durant already passed him up in the finals last year.

No.

That is silly talk.

Lebron is still the best player in the world. When it is time to pass the torch it won't be Durant getting it.

Best players in the world don't get outplayed the way Durant outplayed him. If James slows Durant down Cleveland wins the series.

Durant played on an all star team and he didn't outplay LeBron. There was NOTHING LeBron could have reasonably done to win that series.

LeBron averaged
34 points
12 rebounds
10 assists
56% FG

Durant averaged
35 points
5.4 assists
8 rebounds
55% FG

He could have prevented Durant from avg 35 per game for starters.

If Japan slowed down the atomic bombs then the axis powers win the war.

So this is your way of admitting LeBron wasn't outplayed?

Might wanna unban FF so someone will actually acknowledge the best player in the NBA in this thread

Terrible analogy. Germany and Italy had already surrendered and Japan was essentially done. Bombs were anticlimactic. Where is Chas when you really need him?

When I hear someone was outplayed in a 5 game series the numbers usually back it up.

And now you're back to denying the reference you made four minutes ago. Very sad.

This alleged banning has possibly messed with your memory. Let me refresh it. One poster here thinks Kyrie Irving is God's greatest gift to basketball. I'm just here to provide balance to that warped perspective, however sarcastically so. And by the way, that poster isn't you... though you may be joining forces. Who knows.

Post subject:  Re: LeBron?

There was no banning. I'm not siding with ltg on Kyrie. I'm here to provide balance since you and ltg have equally distorted views on Kyrie as a player.

Kyrie is a top 15 to 20 player.

Post subject:  Re: LeBron?

I'd say my views outside of my argument with ltg are very balanced. Without LBJ Kyrie is not a champ or even a playoff vet, but with or without LBJ he's a good player.

He hasn't had a chance to be a champ without LeBron. Any fair comparison you want to make between the two pretty much necessarily needs to end at LeBron's first three years in the league.
