Your bias is at all time levels of sad. Now it is Russell Westbrook that takes the blame for Carmelo being a loser? Last year he assisted on 57.3% of made field goals, this year 54.3%. He averaged 46.6% in the 3 years prior, and 41.6% for his career. He is getting teammates involved in the flow of the offense MORE THAN EVER. What makes this even more amazing is that his usage percentage is down to 31.7% from 41.7% last season. Besides Adams and Westbrook, every OKC player has an even BPM or a negative BPM.

The team is SIMPLY worse when Westbrook is used less, or feels as if he has to involve Carmelo or Paul George in order to keep them happy.

Westbrook's BPM is 6.0 and his VORP is 0.7.

Carmelo's BPM is -1.6 and his VORP is 0.0.

Carmelo needs the ball less in every way.

Spoken like a guy that hasn't really seen them play.

When you have to start exclusively quoting stats it becomes apparent that you haven't seen them play.

I've watched more Western Conference basketball this season already than I ever have in past seasons.

AND YET AGAIN I must ask if you realize that statistics are a report of what actually happened during a game, yes? Please just answer that. Do you understand what statistics are?

You don't want stats? Fine.

Basketball fans know that Oklahoma City scores less and gives up more when Carmelo Anthony is involved. Basketball fans know that Oklahoma City's best chance at winning is giving the ball to Russell Westbrook and letting him make any and all decisions on the basketball court. If you are playing good basketball, he will involve you.

Is that clearer? Nary a number to be seen!

Yeah but I have already told you that I learn more from actually watching the game. I'm fairly certain that there isn't much difference in his 4th quarter usage rate between this year and last year.

He becomes extremely ball dominant in 4th quarters.

OKC defense hasn't been the problem. That is how I know you haven't watched the game.

They are predictable on offense. That's the biggest problem.

Your Melo is a loser argument is weak too. He made the playoffs during his first 9 years in the league as his team's best player.

"Well, I again gave Carmelo a chance for 3 quarters to actually help this team and yet again he let me down. Time to take over yet again. I thought I wouldn't have to do this for a second straight year after getting PG and Melo. Whoops."

We have to get some better educators into the CPS... I hope you don't teach math.

"Kids...make sure you don't show any work. Just put down the first number that feels right... look at it. Does it pass the eye test? Great. A+"

I still have them 2nd in the West. Where do you have them? You do remember that your Reliance on stats had you thinking that guys like Lance MCW and Parsons were actually good?

Having better students always helps.

OKC looking good early but it might be fool's gold. They've blown a number of big leads this season.

They have to play better on the road and they have to get better at winning close games.

I'm a Westbrook fan but it is painful watching him attempt to orchestrate an offense.

Turnover prone and he forces things way too much. I will continue to roll will him but he has to get better in that particular area.

OKC had the 11th best offense last year. Now they are 24th.

Westbrook was #1 in OBPM last season. Now he is 19th.

What changed?

His shooting percentage for starters. He is shooting about 40% from the field and if you check his percentage during their losses it's atrocious.

His shooting percentage for starters.

Carmelo is in the corner screaming "ball! ball!" when Westbrook is shooting. It is distracting.

Doubt you're watching the game tonight so let's provide an up to the minute recap. They are up 11 with 7 minutes to go. George has it going tonight.

What are the odds that Westbrook will continue to feed George?

I am watching the game. Do you want pictures? I'm in my sweatpants and a hoodie so I'm not exactly looking fresh but if you really want em...

edit: Did you see that sweet KAT 3? Or the sweet Jimmy assist on Wiggins' corner 3? The eye test told me those were nice shots.

Well you've just seen Westbrook completely take George out of the offense.

Their offense becomes too predictable under 5 minutes. Happens every time there is a close game.

Carmelo Anthony has to play better. He isn't giving them shit. Don't know if he can at this stage of the game.

There were only two OKC players that happened to garner assists during their game with Memphis.
