He played well against Washington in the first game. Didn't look bad last night either. He looks like he will be able to defend and he can get in the lane pretty well. I like the fact the kid is playing hurt. A hurt Fultz is still better than T.J. McConnell. That may be why he is playing.

He is their only ball handler/playmaker if you discount Simmons. There isn't another guy that can break guys down besides he and Simmons.

He was very bad last night. That's one of the main reasons Detroit was able to come back so easily.

If he doesn't improve drastically he would be an all time bust. You cannot disagree with that. I can accept the excuse that he's playing poorly because he's hurt, but if it's so bad he can't shoot a jump shot then no, he isn't better than McConnell or anybody else on the roster. This is obvious.

You learn more about what management wants you to think about players. YOU are pro-management. Of course you'd think Sam Smith is correct and the other writers (read: everyone else) are wrong. If you could ask a Bulls player what they think of Sam Smith, they would tell you they treat him just like they treat the front office. Anything they say to him, they might as well be saying to Reinsdorf.

None of that matters if the stories happen to be true. Did Cowley ever write stories that weren't lauding Thibs Butler or Guillen?

You're obviously anti management and in your opinion they are the" worst managed team in the league". I'm sure that is your position even when there is mounting evidence to the contrary.

I'm pro-winning and anti-losing. It doesn't tax me all that much to look at this team for the past 15 years and identify the weaknesses.

The Bulls have been a competitive team for the better part of 15 years. You supported the Cubs through the lean years and I'm sure you were all in on the plan. The Bulls have consistently put out a better product over the past 25 years.

The Paxson and Forman era doesn't get the luxury of claiming the success of the Krause and Phil era, sorry. And every single major success of the Paxson and Forman era occurred during Thibodeau's tenure.

The Cubs rebuild was only supported by fans due to having a competent owner and a very successful President and GM. If Hendry would have remained for the rebuild, how well do you think that would have went over? Zell only owned the team for a couple of years and fans were already rebelling.

Paxson and Forman no longer get the benefit of the doubt. They give out ludicrous contracts, they draft D-League failures in the first round, and they cannot evaluate talent (they admitted they didn't even have Jordan Bell rated as an NBA talent).

The Bulls made the playoffs prior to Thibs's arrival and Paxson supplied Thibodeau with what most experts considered to be one of the best rosters in the league.

No one is having it both ways. You can't evaluate him as a player until he is able to shoot jump shots. I'm wondering why he should be bashed for playing if he has been cleared to play.

Nobody is bashing him. How do you not understand this? Either he's injured or he's not. If he can't shoot jump shots because of an injury he shouldn't be playing. Kawhi Leonard is my favorite player in the league but I would want him sitting too if he was so hurt that he couldn't shoot a basketball. This is a moronic discussion.

He hasn't played all that bad in spite of that. If he can be effective without being able to shoot then he should play. He can shoot a basketball by the way. He can t shoot long range jump shots. 8 to 10 feet looks fine.

It really isn't moronic as much as it's something you happen not to agree with. If he were too injured to play then he wouldn't play.

He's been terrible, at best he's been unnoticeable. I think he had one game where he wasn't completely useless.

Not correct. Amir Johnson had much more to do with that. He stinks and they are playing him because of the contract. Fultz hasn't looked like a No.1 overall but he has looked like he should be in there.

Fultz has ability. That's evident

Well, but pretty much everyone except you think he's been ineffective. I don't really know what else to say. What you're saying doesn't sync up with reality.

The same can be said about you with respect to Lauri Markannen.

I see some things that I like about Fultz but until he is able to shoot with range no one really knows what he will be. It's hard enough being a rookie anyway but a rookie with an injury is murder.

Paxson was the GM that made the Bulls competitive again. He has made more good moves than bad throughout his tenure. I don't care for Forman

so what exactly is the Bulls plan ?

Tanking.

Fultz had fluid drained from his shoulder earlier this month and plans to see a specialist.

I like him and think he has a chance to be a really good shooting big man, but at the draft I was hoping for Dennis Smith at that spot.

I hate how they're looking for "shooters" and not "studs." First it was McDermont in 2014 or whatever which was an expensive pick that they ultimately gave away for nothing, and now with this guy. He may be all right but I want the focus to be on playmaking studs. Find those guys first then sign me a Korver or Danny Green or whatever as the shooter. Fuckin' Forman.

Which person from this draft would you have preferred they draft. Guys drafted after Markannen of course.

Dennis Smith
John Collins
Kyle Kuzma

Also, probably don't give away your 16th pick when it wasn't necessary to complete the deal. Don't sell your 38th pick either.

Dude is hot tonight though. Credit where credit is due. All the Bulls are hitting 3's. If Markkanen can shoot 83% from downtown for the remainder of the season, he may win ROTY.

Fox's first career start did not go well. 1/8 from the field, 4 boards, 5 assists 4 turnovers in a 30 pt loss.

Donovan Mitchell had his best game as a pro Saturday night.

Collins continues to be a steady around a double double ever game out.
