He plays more like a point forward than a point guard. I know Beverly is All NBA defense but it seems like he's going to have trouble getting past smaller guards. |

Bloodthirsty guy who made the league on sheer grit. He probably sees Ball as a damn media creation (which he is). When I saw that on the schedule I figured it was going to be a rough one for Ball. Patrick is also a lockdown defender too. Not a good one for your first NBA game. |

Man, the Lakers are bad. Like real bad. Gonna be tough for a teammate oriented guy like Lonzo to excel with the bums he has. Ingram is a bust, he's downright terrible. And to make matters worse he's a chucker. The whole team is full of chuckers. Luol Deng is starting and he shouldn't even be in the NBA anymore. Ditto for Larry Nance. Lonzo short armed a couple shots in the lane and was clearly a little intimidated, but overall I thought he settled down and passed the ball really well. Only 4 assists, but that has more to do with teammates being horrible than anything else. The rebounding was great. Tonight should be a better game since they are playing an equally shitty team in Phoenix. |
